I want that everywhere ASAP. But I also want to know the charging curve and I hope it is impressive. What does everybody think about Tesla replacing the v3 cabinets at v4 dispensers? Probably won’t happen, but a Cybertruck driver that wants a better towing and road tripping experience can dream, right?

One thing I take away, and I'm not surprised, is that Cybertruck can charge much quicker than 250kw.

In the interim, 250kw from the largest charging network ain't terrible. Heck, there are vehicles being launched for the 2026 model year (I'm looking at you GM/Caddy Elastiq or something like that) that can't even hit 200kw.

It is not the max but the charging curve!!

405 kW in other threads but >250 doesn't last long at all!

The big dog is on a tight leash ... for now ;-)
Same for when they announce 250 kW for Model 3s ... lot of noise but they *still* don't charger high for very long at all. Misleading for people that look at headlines without details.

Look for horizontal lines up to 50% SOC below for the less misleading ones.

They know what they are doing, but at first glance - this will cook your pack.

The problem I have is that they have already installed three V4 chargers near my home in the Bay Area. But they are all still using the older technology. My question is: "Why did you install a new V4 cabinet and not go all the way?"

As previously mentioned, I am more interested in the charging curve which appears to max out until 30%. There is no reason not to carry those speeds longer. At least 50% or like the iPhone and carry it to 80%.

Come on Tesla, you claim to have the smartest engineers in the world.

An empty and conditioned Model Y or Model 3 can peak at over 1,000 mph at a V3 Supercharger. The Cybertruck hits around 700 mph on the V3.

1,300 mph, DAMN!

That's basically each side of the battery getting its own 250 kW charger

Amazing what simply going to 800V yields.
