This is where we have to draw the line between marketing bs and corporate puffery which just so happens that Tesla won their case in California when they were sued. Toyota is going through warranty denials for GR86 owners who tracked their car. Although Toyota marketed the car as being "track ready" and offered free track days for owners, they are denying warranties. Dodge with the Demon 170 marketed that car as being the most badass drag car ever, yet, if you blow your engine on the drag strip, they will deny your warranty. So, no, it's not a joke that they include operating the vehicle with these terms as they can and likely will deny your warranty.

Oh Jesus...It's in the headline...They had a change of heart which says, they initially denied the warranty. The only reason Toyota even went back on it, is because of Reddit, Motortrend, YouTube, the GR86 forum, where they got blasted for so long. Now, go find the initial guy who blew his engine and had to wait 6 months of going back and forth with Toyota before getting the internet involved. Then, and these are hot off the press with only minimal concern from Dodge that the Demon 170 engines are still blowing up after the recall to repair and replace the affected engines that now those repaired engines are being denied warranty.

Now, while on the subject, find the warranty denial from Toyota in regard to the GR Corolla. That's actually a good one for a giggle or two. The advertised that car once again as a track car, yet have denied warranties for "excessive speed"....85 mph lmao.

So, yes, it wouldn't surprise me if Tesla denies a warranty because you were "operating" your vehicle using off-road mode in an off-road setting. It's bs.

Back to getting in and out of buying your vehicle quickly. I agree. There should be a dedicated standby person for anyone who wants a tour of the vehicle. However, I feel that at least every other person wants to walk in, grab the keys, and go. So really they just need to make sure the care is clean and ready to go. Then you have three paths: exit, line for tour guide of your new vehicle features, and line for reporting any immediately noticeable defects.

Back to CT demand. I think their demand is the same as any other pickup in the current pickup market. There's a ton of inventory across the board. Must haver's got their CT. Remaining people are waiting for better pricing/deals, cross-shopping less expensive EV trucks, or require more range and waiting for the extender.

My brother has a Lightning and loves it. He puts all his tools and chargers in the frunk. Lightning is a better work truck in many ways and I think a very good value now. My wife has a model 3 and I find myself driving it over my corvette. It’s just easy and smooth. I’m certainly a fan. I think they’re better vehicles. Fuel/Maintenance savings is just a bonus.

I have ten lightnings in my fleet and my next order of 20 so far has 6 in transit. Sounds like the rest will have to wait till next year which I hate for tax reasons but it is what it is.

The lightning is an OUTSTANDING work truck. zero EV trucks offer the range to make replacing the fleet with them possible except maybe the chevy but it has a similar bed shape downside to the CT and I also don’t trust chevy to make as good a truck as Ford does.

Everyone I've talked to loves the Lightning as a work truck, provided that it doesn't need to be driven more than around 200 miles a day (assuming standard battery). Only complaint is that it could be cheaper.

Charge them overnight at the yard -- no time wasted at the cardlock station, no need for onsite fuel tanks or a fueling service. Low maintenance. Locking storage and power outlets in frunk. On-board power. Can use regular F-150 accessories. Some definite advantages.

I keep wondering the same thing... Why are there so many people that DO NOT OWN CYBERTRUCKS on the 'CyberTruckOwnersClub' site?

I could understand before when so many of us were waiting to get ours, but it just seems crazy that there are so many people on here that OBVIOUSLY don't own one AND have stated that they aren't getting one or would 'never' get one... Yet here they are just trying to make them look bad??

I think the moderators need to start looking at them... AND maybe make NEW users prove (in some way) that they DO own one... We don't need a bunch of people spreading fake information and negative narratives...
