I did Foundation series because I thought otherwise would be waiting years. Turned out that was not the case and I could have saved about 10K so I regret that.

As far as owning it I really regret letting my wife drive it a few times because now its her favorite car ever, she calls it hers and we are on a path where it looks like the only outcome might be a second Cybertruck.

Zero regrets here after 4 months! It's just a fantastic vehicle all around!

If u want the options on foundation, it’s priced fine

Of course if you want something lighter optioned then foundation not for you
Too many people overlook this. The Foundation series costs more, but you're getting a lot of options and is fairly priced. Powershare and FSD are a must have. The only real "options" IMO, are the wheel upgrades and interior color.

At this point, it feels like beating a dead horse, but I'm also in the no regrets crowd. I took delivery of my dual motor CT and it instantly replaced my Mustang, Escape, Impala and Ram. The CT does everything the others could, and it does a better job at everything. At first, my wife and I thought we'd keep the Escape as a second car, but neither of us wanted to drive it anymore, so we sold it too. We want to see if a refreshed Model Y will satisfy us for the second car role, but it'll have to be something special or we're just going to get a second Cybertruck.

A lot of people still doubt they'll ever use FSD. I was on the fence until my FS CT got it, and I started using it. Now I'd say it's a mistake to buy a Tesla without it. Just my .02 but I see too much value there to not have it, and Elon says they're going to raise the price in the future.

Only the poor Customer service in Roger's MN.

CT is awesome.

As long as they keep the FSD subscription option, I'm good. My dual motor is all that I dreamt it could be.

I’m about to place an order for a Cybertruck. I’ve owned two EVs and no ICEVs for a few years now, so I understand what EV ownership entails, including long trip travel.

The question is not about owning an EV. Rather it’s about owning the Cybertruck. Does anyone have any regrets and would rather he hadn’t bought it. If so, could you list your reasons.

Thank you.
No regrets from me with the truck or the price. However, for the first 5 months I got the finger from everyone... 65 YO ladies in Honda Pilots, Teenagers in Subarus, Tacoma driving wankers with kayaks on their roofs, and F250s with not a spec dirt on them. At times it was tough to absorb the constant negativity with grace.
But, it's a great truck with a ton to offer int he way of utility and fun. I use it like a truck and find mud to be the best wrap of all.

Have a beast. No regrets. I still look for excuses to drive it every day. Hopping in another car and trying to drive feels like a downgrade now.

Only regrets is having to wait 18 to 24 months for my $69,998 Tri motor, maybe even the $49k duel.

I like to hangout in Chill mode around here. I savor the excitement of hitting the booster thrust in Standard mode and just dusting the diesel necks, before they can coal-roll-me

I regret nothing. I initially ordered AWD and regretted that in time to switch. I wanted most of the foundation perks so the early access penalty for Foundation was worth it.
