Apologies if this has already been posted somewhere here, but I couldn't find it. I wanted to share this youTube video I found from Grant (Soaring Videos), and found it to be a thoughtful commentary on his two business CTs, and also the unique hate they can trigger.

I love how that pansy didn’t bother talking to the guy, he just called his office to whine about the truck. Whatever. The love far outweighs the hate.

The best part about the hate is that a solid 90% of these whiners will be Tesla owners by 2040. Gas is on short time as the dominant fuel type and no other EV company is going to make it much longer.

Not just whine. Threaten. He didn't have the balls to talk to the owner on the spot. But called the office and threaten harm because he thinks that makes him tough doing over a phone. What a coward and an idiot. Glad he is in jail. Wish this was on the news.

When a "thing" that you didn't buy, and don't need to buy or look at, can trigger you so much that it makes you do things that can affect your life...Man. There are some really crazy people out there.

What a great video. Everything the guy says about the truck is dead on. All the FuD, mainstream media causing issues, etc. That had to be the most eloquently stated comment on the entire Tesla hate thing I have seen. I have a hot head, and would never have been able to express myself as good as that guy on the entire situation. Definitely hats off to him.

In regard to the hate…just another example of how easy it has become to manipulate people with false narratives!

The mainstream media (which is threatened by Elon and our new media platforms or for political reasons or for which I really don’t understand)is IMO catalyzing this type of misinformed behavior. The mainstream media hate of Elon is rubbing off on stupid people that refuse to do their own research and gulp down media misinformation as the gospel!

So unfortunate! Just happy our police force didn’t simply brush this off!

PS. I just returned from a 2-week trip to China …and the EV market there is leaps and bounds ahead of US…over a dozen EV brands that appear to be quality builds everywhere! Without Tesla, US and EUROPEAN automakers are FAR behind.

PS. I just returned from a 2-week trip to China …and the EV market there is leaps and bounds ahead of US…over a dozen EV brands that appear to be quality builds everywhere! Without Tesla, US and EUROPEAN automakers are FAR behind.

To be fair, the reason China can move so fast is because they just YOLO the environmental/safety aspect of mass production, especially for toxic materials needed for batteries.

Also, the Chinese cars may appear quality, but I've seen tear-downs that show indicate they are not. I have to say that a lot of Chinese products are quite good now, not like it used to be.

Great video, but, how do you get $0.06/kwh electricity?

Depends on your utility and thus where you live. Mine offers 6.5c/Kwh for timed use plan. Otherwise its 12.5c/Kwh for standard plan.

Hmmm ... outside of the bubble here and other like 'forums' the past couple years of Elons actions and antics will affect Tesla and is one of the reasons I don't think the Cybertruck will come close to dominating the market. By in large, It is only doing it now because of Tesla superfans.

I mean now you can order and pick one up in less than a month (per going to the Tesla website right now). Tesla is pulling demand levers now for the CT (FSD transfer, leases and buyouts, etc). RAM may be the only one that doesn't have their truck out by the end of this year.

The other big boy truck sellers are coming out with vehicles with much more range
(think cold weather areas, towing, and *V2H*)
and luxury features that have been in their best selling trucks (tailgate functionality is 1 small example! CTs is joke by comparison). These guys have analyzed the truck market for decades and took customer feedback to change their trucks.

The CT has some great features like working on a ton of V2 Superchargers, 40 amps in the bed (14-50), extra tough glass, and Tesla OTAs. The SS turned out to be a bust because many are wrapping them to deal with the SS downsides.

Check out the blue columns. Tesla CT is in the middle of the road.

Excellent video. Like hearing how the CT is saving you money running your business compared to gas vehicle without compromising how you operate. Glad the sheriff took the clowns threats seriously.
