My Gladiator came with factory spray-in bedliner. I've had drop-ins, rubber mats, and spray-in. Of all those I prefer the mats first, spray-in second, and hate the drop-ins. I don't give a shit about damage to the truck; it's just the bed, but I want things to not slide around.

If that is the case then I will forgive the yoke :) Never made sense to have the yoke with no screen in front of it.
Would definitely be an upgrade from orig. Prototype if it has the new model s plaid drivers screen. I would prob prefer no yoke tho. Bed looks to be 6.5 ft long at the bed's floor but slighty tapers back a bit at the top at the cabin wall. Did Elon mention the car will recognize you as you walked up without your phone?..looks to be a camera in the b pillar.

I always thought that was overkill and spot for dirt to build up. Some good tie down points is all I need.
Rails are super useful with no down-side. However, they are also super-cheap to install. People who bought the version of my Gladiator that didn't have rails simply buy a cheap aluminum rail, and get the Toyota sliding hooks which are $22 online.

My 2 cents...

The frunk is definitely shorter. I hated it initially, but it has grown on me. Looks like a warthog as others have said, and it will probably fit in my garage better. Plus I won't have to suck it in as much when walking in front of it.

I'm convinced the wiper was a total afterthought and Elon / Tesla engineers have no way to make it optimal given there's no room between the hood and the windshield. That control housing is going to have to be pretty beefy to handle that thing at full speed. In the winter, I HIGHLY doubt that one arm will have enough power to move heavy snow. The best solution I guess is to use your Tesla app and warm it up to have the snow already melted before you drive away.

I also noticed this:
CT.png

Kind of looked pinched on the drivers side.

I think the ceiling height is the same, and not lowered suspension as others have said. I think the now curved glass windshield slopes it back, as opposed to the first cybertruck we all saw that had a flat windshield and seemed to go on for miles.

I just hope that the price hasn't gone up significantly. Elon has not given me much historical data for me to believe he'll keep his word on the original pricing.

AND I hope that it has a mid gate. Full cabin access camping! Hell yea!

Let's hope we get all of our questions answered on the earnings call!
?

That's why Elon was suggesting the frunk lid pop up and the wiper slide up from underneath.

The whole front plane seems to be slight steeper. That's just better aerodynamics. (Unlike what they did to the ID Buzz)

Because it still isn't Wednesday... I am rewatching the video looking for some nuggets to pass the time. Any idea what this shape is? Could be the rear view screen/mirror. Or maybe the center screen? It looks to big for a rear view mirror and to high for the center screen. ?

That big-ass wiper is kind of trippy. I want to see it in action. I know Elon said it wouldn’t be in the final version.
Everyone needs a big ass-wiper

The running boards also seem to stick out more. This could just be lighting but it doesn’t look as clean as the original to me where the door meets the running board.

Looking more, I think it is just the other side mirror. Nailed it.

The one thing that it has in favour of "easier wiping off of the snow" is that it doesn't have to work so hard against gravity since it's moving sideways, then down; rather than up, and then sideways. Hopefully then, the snow should easily slide off and the wiper won't have to work so hard. Also, the wiper looks like the heaviest duty wiper I've ever seen! I'm sure it's heated as well which will help, of course.

Looks like a rear headrest to me

EDIT: agree that it's the external mirror, I was mis-oriented

Still kinda disappointed the bed is black plastic lined. I really loved the stainless bed with t track. Looks very limited in tie down mounting options now... and still looks shorter bed. Im thinking their advertised bed length is stretching the truth only counting the very bottom where the front slopes inward toward the cab and is at its max length for only like 3 inches high which would make the advertised bed length useful for like 2 sheets of plywood. ha.
