Amazingly, this is very similar idea to the DeLorean's luggage rack.

It bolted over the rear louvers, since the gull-wing doors would interfere with a roof rack. Of course, it was then impossible to access the engine lol.

I have a Thule Aeroblade (same as their current Wingbar) and it's less resistance and whistle than the pro bar or the old square bars (which I still have from my '87 Honda Civic!) but it still drops my range by 20-40 miles empty. So I take off the parts I'm not using.

Being able to stow the rack in the vault would be super cool.

The Cybertruck does not have a traditional rear-view mirror, but instead displays the rear camera feed on a screen.

The tail gate is the major obstacle to any direct rear view. The glass on your tannaeu cover would create very big refection and deflection making the view distorted.

Yeap.

Even in my Model Y, rear visibility is limited. On the Cybertruck, the driver sits way lower than a normal truck. About all you are going to see through that tiny rear window looking backwards is what’s in the truck bed.

I think the rear view mirror has been replaced by a camera on the bumper in any case.
