This sounds promising for us waiting for a Lightbar.

Just to follow up on this, ABS testing went great. Iām working towards milling this out once my carvera air is back Saturday!I found the service bulletin and second thought installing mine that way (I donāt think drilling the hole for the tap makes sense). Iām shifting gears and think I have a new mount designed that uses existing appliquĆ© mounts. I should have ABS version testing done Tuesday.
I was able to get everything but I also didnāt get the corresponding pads to go into the lightbar like another poster on here. The service center rep looked at me like I was crazy when I asked where the pads were when I showed him the parts specifically say āwith padsā.I will update when I get home tonight but, I do have everything needed. Almost through the bracket at the service center guy. lol
Full circle moment for off-road lightbar
Thank you! My rep finally said those were the pads too but had no idea about the end caps, I am going to try to order them. He said they havenāt even put one on aside from the glue method. He laughed when I told him about the bracket and said āclassic Tesla that you would know before meā.I ordered the bracket with pads using the provided part numbers. Three days later, I received a message indicating that the parts were ready for pickup. Upon arriving at the store, I was handed the brackets without any pads. I inquired about the pads, and the representative pointed to the bracket and said, āYouāre holding the pad.ā However, I was referring to the pads themselves, not the brackets. He then pointed to the pads, and I realized my mistake.

Now, Iām completely puzzled. I had informed the representative that I needed the small aluminum piece that secures the bracket to the light bar. He assured me that he would return after checking their inventory for any light bar-related items. A few minutes later, he returned with two small aluminum pads, placing them on the table. I quickly grabbed them, determined not to lose them. However, the representative explained that these parts are called āEND CAPS,ā but I hadnāt ordered them.

I requested the part number for the END CAP and asked him to include it in the invoice so that I could pay for them. $170
