Hahaha that’s fair. I just thought it was funny with the pan from the covered camera to back of the bar. :p that’s cool those are adjustable…. I actually have been looking for some good cross bars.. what brand do you have? I’m putting a starlink mini, ubiquiti cloud key, access point, flex g4 cameras and a ptz around my truck for multi view and recording. It’ll be a mobile network rig. I’ll post pics just waiting for my mini to ship….
The bars are from MARS and there is an install article at www.halocybertruck.com along with a starlink mini mount for them and of course many other articles ...

Is there a page for firmware updates for the v2 Hansshow mirror? I can't find it like some videos out there mention.

I did extensive testing today on the Hansshow Rear view mirror power harness connection, the Hansshow LED light strip power harness connection and the front bumper LED light bar power connection. I have taken videos of the testing and will post them. Hansshow has been notified that their power harness for either the rear view mirror or the LED dash light strip simply do NOT supply power to downstream devices and they kill the power to the speaker in the B pillar as well. I need to update my article accordingly but for the time being I find this to be a significant flaw unless the mirror is the only device you are ever going to attach and you don't care about sound out of that speaker.

Any chance you did a pinout of the connector? I got a Wolfbox and it works well, but I have to turn it on and off manually. I put in a 48V - 12V in the frunk.
I would love to know what wires I can tie into for switched power. Local Hansshow guy knows nothing, strictly a plug in artist.

I did a separate article and post on dealing with this issue, you can find the article on www.halocybertruck.com in the Articles section. HTH.

I did not change the orientation it just lays flat on the bed of the printer as it would on the truck. I did try it with and without supporting different support types and amounts. I initially printed fine with no support but the later shifted to I think a 10 or 15% support. What problem are you having printing?

Just checking in to see if Hansshow ever fixed the connector to allow power to the right tweeter. Please let me know if i missed the solution. Tia

The print quality was not good, I finally got it to print a good quality one but I had to place the cover straight up. Thanks for responding

Reached out a few days ago- they said they are working on it.

I hate that the speaker is not working, but not as much as I hate the idea of ripping everything out.

I do not know how to fix the wiring harness (I read somewhere that there is a missing pin?).

Maybe someone who has done this can explain the process.

If youve been lurking on this thread (as I have been) to wait for the speaker problem to be reliably fixed, I would suggest that we actually dont need this feature. Yes it should habe come with something like it out of the box.

After owning the CY for nearly a year, and stressing about the rear view on purchase, ive been waiting for a good reliable rear view mirror solution. But if you’re an FSD user above say 15% then you definitely dont need it. And if you’re below 15%, and for the rare times that you actually need it, the magnetic wireless camera systems from amazon are: similarly priced, much much easier and flexible to install, and do not require dismantling the interior.

if youre towing something, the over the typical tonneau location isnt as good as the combined view of two wireless side cams (that give a good rearview) and a rear cam pointing directly down at your rear most bumper.

the biggest downside of a wireless solution is latency though. so back up nice and slow.

bottom line, just use fsd all the time.

That doesn't help anyone who has one installed and is waiting on a fix. For me I don't really notice the speaker not working so I'm just waiting for the fix.

For me it was never about utility. It was simply better than having a small mirror, maybe some redundancy for recording or whatever known / unknown use I may have for it. To each his/her own. Glad it worked out for you.
