I purchased my 2025 in September. I own a Porsche Carrerra and a high end BMW and my CT is by far my favorite vehicle. What I find challenging is the need by losers in democratic states to give the middle finger in a disgusting and vigorous fashion. I do not care unless my wife and young girls are in the CT to witness this perverse , They are offended and confused by this disgusting and perverse behavior. Is this common and is there anything we can do so stop this vile behavior by sick individuals? Suggestions? Thanks!! Zyborg

It’s hard to not just feel bad for them.

They’re told what to think and why to think it.

Look at all those vandals who were caught on sentry mode back when things were heated. After arrest, “I guess I don’t really now why I did that”.

I’ll tell you why, to go and say online “guess what I just did”

They’re social media programmed NPCs, unknowingly ingesting opinions formed by bot farms and influencers who are seeking clicks

There are several very effective ways to react to this:
1. Ignore - there is nothing more infuriating for libtards when their feelings are ignored.
2. Smile - wear it as badge of honor, you already made a statement by buying and driving giant, expensive middle finger libtards cannot afford. Keeping your cool and reacting positively makes them mad. Sometimes I even do "Royal wave"
3. Keep eyes on the road and ignore idiots - this is last stage after you get tired of reacting. The negative, you miss all the positive reactions, but by that time you've been driving Cybertruck for couple years and so used to it that you are surprised that it still generates any reaction.

When you frame it this way, your wife and kids will have fun out of this circus too

I just give them a thumbs-up, smile, and/or a wave. I've said it before, but I'll say it again; whether we like it or not, we are brand ambassadors for Tesla when it comes to this political divide. The Cybertruck is a giant stainless steel symbol of the "right" and as such we are easily recognizable targets. The best response is a positive one and, if given the chance, give them a tour and offer them a ride (if you know them, don't go rounding up strangers).

CT owners have been turning the other cheek for a couple years now, lately I have taken a different and slightly less diplomatic approach.
Most of the people who are very brave behind their glass window when going down the road have a completely different demeanor when their vehicle is at a red light or parked....

Me too. I believe I am usually too focused on enjoying my driving experience to notice, so I imagine my most common reaction is a legitimate Ignore. But when I do see one, I smile and wave. I believe it probably enrages them even more, thinking that their act of petty hostility was misinterpreted by me as a friendly gesture, and made me happy and not sad.

How about events or Cybertruck meetups where we offer to show the truck or even give someone a ride? Sounds absurd - but you will never stop the haters with more hate - kill em with kindness.

Thing is - almost no one that spews hate about the CT has seen up close or talked to an owner. Some of it is also class envy hatred so showing them the truck won’t do much there. Whole separate problem with the class envy.

Dealing with haters on any level is also usually a borderline waste of time - especially in the short term.

Occasionally I drop into a silly CT hate thread on FB - just comment that I really like mine and next thing you know several other CT owners chime in and the haters vanish. No arguing - just stay positive and they vanish - they feed on conflict.

People everywhere, of all persuasions, follow their favorite people and media outlets, and swallow whole whatever bias those sources put out. It isn’t limited to any political point of view. The very fact that you so quickly label entire states tells me that you are one of those people. It would be better for the entire world for all of us to stop taking what our media sources, friends, etc. say as fact, and treat each other with more respect. Only then might we see this kind of behavior, and in fact many types of violence, dissipate.

Is very hard to ignore idiots on the roads, and we all know there are way too many. This is funny coming from me, but, ya just gotta ignore them.

I have QR codes on my front and back that send people to the DNC website that helps them to make sure that theyre registered to vote, and also to donate to planned parenthood. (im an ob:gyn)

also if you bought a CT to own libs then elon is truly a genius.

Consider this a window into your community as a whole.

I’m in Texas, but in the bluest of blue Travis County. Every time I jump in and review my Sentry footage, it’s nothing but people minding their business. Maybe that’s just “Texas Nice”.

Of course, here in Austin we’ve got one of the highest CT-per-capita ratios anywhere, so everyone is accustomed to seeing them.
