FSD would not work, it was grayed out. The right scroll wheel will not work to select different driver profiles. Park Assist keeps saying Loading.
Tried reboot several times. Tried to reset the DAS and that didn’t work.
I think something went, this can’t be software.

Dang, Tesla should give you a warning, like our phones do! I remember few years past updates were “BRICKing” cars.

I don’t know if it’s the update or not.
First major problem since I got the truck in Dec. Only thing I can think of is to re-install the update but I don’t know how to do that.

2026.2.2.9 upgrade installed today. FSD and Cruise do not work. Rebooted several times without success. When driving, no road/traffic visualization is shown. Tesla Assist of no help.

How to fix?

Forgot how much "work" it was to drive manually!!!

Well at least I’m not the only one!
I think it might be a software patch that fixes it.

is your right scroll wheel screwed too?

Yes, right scroll wheel does nothing.

This can be performed using the Service Mode.

Alternatively, you can contact your Service Center to remotely send you a new update, or even a previous version.

Or just wait for another update...
I just got the 2026.14.1, 14.2, and 14.3 this week on my other Tesla !!!

What good now is that the update can be performed automatically at night, at 2 am by default.

Being lazy... how do I enable automatic installations? and "Hey, Grok" while I'm at it.

didn't think I'd use that much but... "Hey, Grok, I just remembered I need post caps. Add a Home Depot stop on the way home. Are they open and do they have 6x6 post caps in black available for Trex Decking?"
"I've added the Home Depot in Upper Marlboro to navigation. You will arrive in 18 minutes. The store closes at 9pm. Their web site indicates they have 4 Trex Deck black post caps in stock. Will that be enough caps?"

Yeah, getting sh!t done!

I had a similar issue in my CT when we got the first early v14 build - I ended up having to drive around for an hour or two, resetting the camera calibration, and doing a full power-down on the vehicle for about 30 minutes before it finally booted up with all the visualizations and FSD functions.

I didn't freak because I've been using FSD for nearly 5 years and have seen odd things like that in my other cars.

That said, might want to check the service menu to see what issues might be reporting.

I might try the camera recalibration

I had to recalibrate the cameras after disconnecting one. Find a highway with well-marked and visible lane lines, and just go far a drive. Puttering around the neighborhood seemed to do little.

And yeah, it was rough having to do all my own driving. I even had to manually turn off the turn signals like a barbarian lol
