Well fair enough. There’s always the 1% like you that do need it. Most people who drive 40 miles a day seem to think they need a 500 mile range because they take a 1,000 mile road trip once a year and tow a smoker trailer occasionally, which simply isn’t true.
Until you hook up a trailer and the next Supercharger is 140 miles away :(

What I find interesting for resale is on Carvana. All the cyber trucks are pending purchase.

i think it would be helpful to list some changes improvements the later build cybertrucks have over 2024.

from my research:
panel gaps better
steering wheel rattles gone
front motor issues fixed

some people want a car now not later. the tesla way is nice but you need to wait longer

carvana is the same they sell for around 70-80k all the time because they promise delivery in less than a week.
Also I think 2024 trims ( at least the FS) are one of a kind some with lifetime super charging, premium connectivity for life and the metal trim interior. And they aren’t very making the AWD one like this again.

Anyone who orders the base AWD $69,990 trim will see an instant $10k drop in depreciation the moment they take delivery.

Most likely the dual motor used will be $52k in one year and $42k in two years. Still not bad for any car.

$10k "extra" in depreciation versus the basics that were purchased at $60k. But that also depends on what the price does over the next several months or if the trim continues to exist.

I’m confident the $59,990 price will return once production catches up with demand.

Unlike the $70k RWD fiasco Tesla finally hit the Cybertruck sweet spot regarding MSRP and standard features.

they pretty much sell right when listed too
I cannot figure this out. Ive spent the last year trying to get a CT off carvana and theyre instantly bought at whatever they list. Only once did I see one that wasnt purchase pending and was only on hold. Either dealers have bots instantly buying them or Carvana is faking these trucks to make it look like they have inventory. I kind of suspect the latter because for months there would be exactly the same number of purchase pending CTs listed.

I agree. You want it NOW pay $10k to cut the line.
