Anyone else break their spat (“mud flap”) on a curb?

I managed to clip one of those slim triangular curbs they cut into sidewalks while making a right turn at night. When I got home I noticed I had broken what many call a “mud flap,” however, this is technically a “spat” as it’s in front of the rear tire and is for aerodynamics. I’m wondering if anyone else has done this and if you were able to repair it yourself or if you had to take it to a SC?

I did the same thing and put in a service request. I got an estimate of $50 and a date the service rep would be there to install. Great service guy and replaced quickly

I knocked the front passenger side one off in a snow bank and took the two rear ones off knowing they will get ripped off at some point.

I'm on my 3rd rear passenger one. Bought some ppf from RPM Tesla, gonna put it on when it warms up for added strength.

I replaced the last one myself, part is only 15 bucks. If you go that route, order the install screws--if the part is hanging loose a screw or two is gone.

SC replaced all 3 of my dangling rocker that resulted from 2 encounters with tire debris in ~5 months of ownership. Parts and labor were north of $50 but south of $100 per rocker.

When the SC Tech first saw it and before I could explain the tire debris encounters, he said "looks like you probably clipped a curb. That happens all the time." Misery loves company.

Although it sounds like a relatively easy self-help fix, I already had SC appointments so opted to save my time and spend my money.

I'm hoping some OEM or aftermarket rubber options hit the market. Tire debris never ripped anything off of any other vehicle I've ever owned.

Busted my first one in a dirt road when I didn't raise the truck, second on the way home from the SC getting it fixed on road debris.

Just saw some running boards that delete that fairing, that seems the best answer.

Done it twice. Feel better knowing I’m not the only one driving over curbs!

I pulled over for an ambulance and did the same hitting a packed snow/ice bank.

I was able to repair it but the pins were not broken off like your picture.

There are 3 pins. 2 at the top inside corner pointing sideways and 1 at the bottom pointing up. Then 3 attached snap clips and 1 plug inside the well.

Once I got the pins and clips seated well. I was able to replace the missing plug and glued the inside seam with CA glue.

Not sure if this individual fairing part is available. It seems to be holding fine so far.

The mudflaps are add ons facing outside front and back. These things are fairing parts and face the center.

My left mud flap fell off. I believe it was because I hit a curb driving through a drive-up window at the pharmacy.
I guess I need to make an appointment with the Tesla Service Center to replace it. I’ve been looking for a replacement, but have not been able to find one online. Tesla is weak on available replacement parts.
Another thing I have noticed about FSD v13.2.7 is the CyberTruck cuts corners and the 2 left tires hit the curb. I don’t trust FSD to avoid the curb when making a left turn at a stop light and there is an island on roadway I am turning onto. I turn the wheel to avoid hitting the curb which kicks FSD off. A message is displayed on the screen saying, “FSD was turned off, Why?” expecting me to record an audio response.
