I don't know if it fell off or someone kicked it off , but my right side Front Fairing is missing. So I tried to order the part first through the App....No Luck. Then the Website...No Luck. Then put in a service ticket, talked to the guys on the app they told me I could order it but I can't. Any service center is 2+ hours away, they can get it but I got a 4+ hour drive to get it for a $40 part! This is stupid! I Love my truck, but if I can't get parts except to drive a ridiculous amount is going to get old.
So I am asking if anyone has ordered a part, that is not a BUSINESS, and got their parts and what's your secret? Frustrated ... :cautious:

I was going to try that but they want a EIN Business Number which I dont have. I should work on my wood business to get one, but its just a hobby right now.

Hmm, I don't remember having to give an EIN but maybe I did. I used an LLC I have registered but not using for anything.

I beginning to think its what I want to order and not the site itself. Which is weird to me why would they limit this part since its small, does not require programming and is probably the most venerable part of the front end to get broken . I don't remember hitting anything but it gone regardless. Probably vandals not caught on video, who knows. Do me a favor, try to order this number and see if it gives you a purchase button. 1780812-00-C it a right Front Fairing for the bumper.

I just went through the same process for the same part. Although the service guy said I could order online, I couldn’t unless I was a repair business. It is a 200 mile round trip to the SC , so I arranged to stop at the Knoxville SC on the trip I am currently on. They had ordered the part ahead of time (right rear rocker fairing) and it cost $15.00 plus tax. I looked on line for the part and ordered what turned out to be mud flaps, not the fairing. Too bad it’s not possible to just order onlin he like a repair business can. The SC guy said it’s because the fairing is a body part. Other types of parts apparently can be ordered

WTF!!:mad: Thanks for trying! Now I got something to complain to service about LOL.
Have you tried this:
Go to epc.tesla.com
Then click sign in, use your normal Tesla credentials
It should give you the general public agreement to sign
Then you should be able to order

Ok, either they finally got my account setup even though it said approved almost right away? But I tried to logging in again and I noticed my company name as a user tried to order the part again and yes, it worked, shipping is as bad as the part $41.95 shipping...Ouch. But as someone mentioned cheaper than a 4 hour drive to get it. Thank you all for your suggestions, I really appreciate this group very highly!

Make a friend at the local "Joe's Auto Repair" and get them to order it for you. Even a 100% markup is cheaper than eBay lol

When I ordered my driverside headlight my only option was through a service ticket and picking it up at the service center.
