I also had the same experience. I noticed it wasn’t flat and similarly just snapped it down. All good now.

Welp, looks like there's an actual NHTSA recall notice out now for this issue...Tesla will now be recalling over 11,000 Cybertrucks to fix these sail appliqués. There is also a recall for the windshield wiper motors at the same time. There is a NHTSA page to input your license plate or VIN to see if your Cybertruck is subject to these recalls: https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls

I believe this is the 3rd time this issue has been posted to this forum? Maybe there are more. I am guessing another recall might be coming. This could kill someone on a motorcycle.

I called it. I should start calling myself Nostradamus and buy some more stocks.

I saw my first Cybertruck in Dallas while I was out on my CBR1100. It was an experience. I tried to get closer, but the truck flung a metal spear at me. ... I am of course kidding. Losing a long sharp metal body piece is pretty scary to the folks behind. Hopefully no one has been hurt.
