Biggest flaw in Cyberlandr - bed size

Calling the Cyberlanr's bed "Queen size" is ludicrous. The vault is 6' 6" long and at most, 4' 10 wide.
Given that the bed is at a height requiring six layers of 'pleat' I don't see how the length can be over about 5' 10".
Given that there is an aisle on the right side I don't see how the bed width can be any more than 3' 6".
It's adequate for one person of average height or less.

Since we don't know the full box size of the bed, we can't say that a queen bed won't fit in it. We know that the truck was estimated to have a 6'6" bed and a queen mattress is 6'8" but a mattress can be compressed for transport.

This gizmo has several weak points, this being just one. At the end of the day no one is forcing any of us to buy one and we can decide when the final specs come out (just like the Cybertruck).

I respect Elon. Cybertruck that he came up with, no one else envisioned, nor carved out in woodblock as a toy or even existed until Tesla built it.

I give CyberLandr equal respect. I could not have come up with nor envisioned a pop down solution. I couldn’t design the contraption that would collapse the walls. I’ll wait to see the end product. These guys were smart enough to envision, they’re smart enough to do the build.

Interestingly, the CyberLandr market is bigger than Cybertruck alone after they crack that nut.

Everyone here respects Elon, and I am beyond 100% confident that the CT will be better even than what was promised or shown in the unveiling. I was just saying that every purchase decision we make is just that - a decision, based on whatever factors are important to us at the time. And the CyberLandr is no different in that way. I am not sure I need a huge bed when I am 'roughing it', nor am I certain whether I need a CyberLandr or whether I can afford it, but I did given them some money to see it to the next stage of evolution, and we will see where that is. They have an additional year to tweak it.

What opened my mind was reading the uses to which people had purpose for a CyberLandr. Use cases blew my imagination and $50k+ was no obstacle neither if CyberLandr team crack the build quality to match the design brief. Sure its not perfect but good enough it is for many who find that there exists nothing in the market like it.

I sympathize…Cybertruck struck me the same.

The divider for the bed cover to get put away is my only issue for camping. If the inside is available as part of the read bed, then a 6ft bed is irrelevant if you can leverage the inside of the cabin as well as temperature control.
The new seat fold is great, but where does the cover guide you see if the auto storage go ? Get rid of that divider and I will be very exciting about camping. I want to sleep in my vehicle NOT outside in the bed separate from the temp / tv/ and car controls.

Interesting, if the seats fold, we can sleep over the pass-through, with our heads inside and our body outside.

The tonneau can be open or closed... just not while we are sleeping… or we will wake up in half ! lol

I am 6'3". There has got to be a way to extend the mattress beyond 70 inches in length. How about a hinge on the front window panel or the rear bathroom panel? Another option would be to have fold flat seats in the truck.
