I am "super" excited to get my Cyberlandr. I keep checking the Cyberlandr website for updates, but nothing new is being reported. I hope the make it into production. Cybertruck + Cyberlandr will be the ultimate adventure vehicle!

It's a flawed concept, and that flaw has nothing to do with range.

There simply isn't enough room if the Cyberlandr doesn't expand considerably beyond the size of the bed. If the Cyberlandr ever makes it to general production in it's currently known configuration, it will be too small to be useful for most people, even if you gave it to them for free.

I agree that there are flaws that are easy to identify that they conveniently sweep under the rug when asked. We are tiny so we might be able to make it work in size, but we didn’t buy a pickup truck to have something consume the bed full time or to give up all of the storage space when we go on trips. Those two issues alone make it a questionable solution for me. That said, I loved the idea of it, and the associated technology, from the get go, and put money down for one. I just don’t see it being practical any more.

They are supposed to have a dolly system to "easily" remove the Cyberlandr from the bed. Same concept as any pickup with a camper.
Anyhoo, I do hope this concept works out. I am willing to buy one to try!

I would buy a cybertruck if this thing comes to a reality, although I am skeptical on some of it's designs as well.

I'm only 5'4", my wife is only 5' even. If this thing can accommodate any couple at all, it would be us. :ROFLMAO:

We've got our bed topper with rooftop tent nearing production. It has a 48x88" pass bed that is accessible through the floor. The bed doubles in size with the topper on it. Range i unaffected at 69mph, it's getting roughly 402. Surprisingly our lift kit also doesn't affect it, I'v had one guy said it improved his range but we never tested that.

Some pics from last weekend beach camping with the YMCA Adventure dads group, shown with matte black stainless steel sides.

Some pics showing the front options; recovery boards mounted higher (makes more noise), then flat in the space between the side parts (no noise) and then a molle panels with front edge created a basket. There is also a removable hood that creates storage in the space.

We replaced the flat rear with an SUV style spoiler that really dresses up the end. Rear door final assembly is being installed now, then we are good to go!

Let me know your thoughts!

Takes 6hrs to assemble on the vehicle, probably 2 to take apart, not really a removable product..

I really like the new rear edge protrusion.

Excited to see the final production version!

I’m also super excited about Cyberlandr. I bought my CT mainly to have the CT and CL combo to live in full time and travel around the country. I saw you posted in another thread on CL so I figured I’ll update you a little here. The latest from Lance (CEO of CL) is that the CL will be bigger and better than what we have seen. It will have a bigger bed than what is on the website. It also will be able to add charge to the truck as it is in motion from the solar roof. The official unveiling might happen by the end of the year but most likely will happen early next year.

I think with the expanding shell up and also over the tail gate, there will be enough room to be useful and comfortable. The multi-use of space in the design is genius. I hope they make it to production, and I get one. I'll be happy to come back and post some real world use pics.

Lance wouldn’t confirm but he pretty much implied that it will also expand out over the sides of the bed of the truck. I think it’s gonna be a lot bigger than any pictures we’ve seen yet. Let’s hope we see another prototype soon.

Over the side of the bed?

That would be nice, but even more complicated, unless they gave up the idea of completely folding the whole thing into the bed.

Again, I'm ready to buy if they deliver what is being described here. Pretty close to my dream setup to be honest.

Wow this sounds amazing. Did he say anything about the next target date get? I can't wait to see the next prototype... Or better yet bring my CT in for the installation!
