Oh, that blows. Sorry this happened to you.

Does anyone know what the process is to get Tesla involved? Gotta be valuable data there for them to analyze. Do the cars/trucks just flag that there's been a collision event and upload whatever they can? Almost sounds like the thing froze up for a few seconds.

(I'm new to Teslas and the ecosystem)
they are analyzing all my data logs now. i also requested my data. i was driving it for 5 days, there was no issues, it was sudden and abrupt

To everyone saying pics or it didn't happen... what actual difference would the picture make? Would you believe OP if there was a picture of the truck smashed into a pole? That would somehow make you believe that the brakes didn't function and it was not operator error?

I'm not sure what evidence would be sufficient for everyone to be on the same page with this one. Lots of people swore their teslas accelerated for no reason as well when it turned out they hit the gas instead of the brakes.

It is definitely "sus" but I am at least willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

Will give benefit of the doubt and ask if any malfunction warnings popped up?

im definitely know the difference between the gas and brake. and if you let go of the accelerator the car starts braking.

I'm not actually taking a position one way or the other on this. I'm just wondering why people are asking for pics when those skeptical will likely remain skeptical anyway.
