Ok, thank you! Yeah I heard at least one reviewer guy say “brake by wire” and I doubted it.

From Tesla's manufacturing perspective, what Brake-by-Wire is most helpful for is the progress toward greater modularization. If one can eliminate all of the hydraulic lines then one really can modularize the construction of a vehicle. Steer-by-Wire is certainly one step toward that goal. So it always made sense for Brembo Sensify to be implemented in the Cybertruck but it seems like Brembo Sensify is either not ready for deployment, wasn't cost effective at this time, or some other explanation (or combination of possible explanations), because if there are any hydraulic lines the fully-modularized idea falls short. Maybe BbW will be in a future version of the Cybertruck and maybe they will wait for the next vehicle.

Agreed. Seems most logical it will debut when the “unboxed process” manufacturing lines debut. Sounds like that will be the Model 2/next gen vehicle.

The brake pedal is brake by wire but the brakes themselves aren't.

Many modern cars including ICE have electric modulated brakes, otherwise you wouldn't have things like traction control, stability assist etc.

Would of been epic the see Brembo Sensify, but that's unlikely atm.

In fact CT TM looks like it can do with a really big brake upgrade with the quarter mile videos carwow did, where it lost big tome against the Hummer EV even.
