Can the Power Frunk 48V Power Feed be set to turn OFF/ON with the Truck's Wake/Sleep Cycle?

Hey guys, I'm looking at installing some 12V accessories and would much prefer to use the 48V hookup behind the Frunk. I have heard mixed reports as to whether this can be set to run on when the truck wakes and to turn off when the truck sleeps. Basically I'm trying to make that 'ignition' controlled.

Is anyone currently using that hookup and would be able to confirm this?

I have not been able to do this yet either. Also interested if anyone figures it out. For my "ignition" control stuff like my radios, I ended up rewiring them to the AC system, which has worked very well.

I did see your reply on my other thread and I appreciate the responses in both places. I spoke with a few other people in the radar detector world and they told me that they always use that 48V hookup for 'ignition' like performance. I'm trying to get confirmation and more details.

As you said, if anyone can confirm this here, that would be awesome!

I just got off the phone with a shop who has done several Jammer/RD installs on cybertrucks and they always connect to the 48V source behind the Frunk. They told me there's a 6 minute delay after the car goes to sleep before it will turn off and then it will take back up with the truck. Not sure if that matches your experience.

not quite. It doesn't "wake up" with the truck in my experience. You have to open the power control menu and remember turn on the front power source each and every time you want it on. However, it does power off after a good while on it's own, but I've never clocked it.

The AC outlets can be controlled in the app, fortunately.

Unfortunately, I think an "ignition" experience like with my Jeeps is only really possible with the 110vac--currently anyway. But hey, on the bright side there's a lot more power available from the AC side of things!

I ended up wiring directly to, in line with, the center console outlet. The radio uses barely anything unless I'm transmitting, and even then only around 60W. So I haven't had an issue with anything tripping while putting larger loads on it simultaneously, like my compressor.

I can, but I'd have to take apart the center console again and I don't wanna ?

I'm sure I'll be in there again at some point, I'll take pictures then!
