For a 60A circuit, the wire needs to be copper 6AWG THx type (75C column) in conduit/raceway or #4 NM-B (60C column) (Romex style).Nope, I had to use #4. Code for 60 amp circuit to get 48 amps at the charger. About 30-ft run.
Can also do #4 Aluminum THx, but that requires transition to copper before the the Wall Connector.
