You can use that same Tesla model 3 charger. Ath 30 amps it will take about 14 hours to charge from 0 to 100%

What kind of charging rate are you getting with it. For my MP3 is get 29/hr, but the CT is getting 18/hr. Have PowerShare evaluation appointment tomorrow.
first off. Awesome you are moving forward with Tesla about the PowerShare. I havent' heard anything since January 10th. I can't wait to charge at 100amps and higher with the new system instead of 30amp. so for my truck Im charging at 14m/h and that's because I set the truck at only 27amps. Just don't want to pop the 30 amp breakers.

Maximum L2 charging is 48A.

For sustained use, a 30A circuit should be limited to 24A (80%).

100% would take apps. 14 hours? From what starting point? We usually do not let my wife's Model 3 LR get below 20%. It takes her Tesla about 4-5 to charge to 80% for daily use.

You think charging a CT in the same manner would equate to the apex. same charging times?
If not, why do you think?

It has a larger battery and people charging at home on a 48amp system are getting about 10-12 hours for a full charge. So with 30 amp and the CT it will likely be well over 12 hours for a full charge.

Since the CT battery is larger than the M3 battery and the CT is not as efficient as the M3, the CT will take longer to charge. I think of it in terms of gasoline mileage. If you have a small car that gets 33 MPG and you drive it 100 miles, you will need 3 gallons of gasoline (units of energy). If you are lucky enough to have an F-150 that gets 20 MPG, you will need 5 gallons of gasoline (energy) to go 100 miles. Your M3 will need 3 units of energy to go 100 miles which takes 2 hours to charge. Your CT will need 5 units of energy to go 100 miles, which will take 3.3 hours to charge the CT enough to go 100 miles...

Yeah, this is explanation is pretty confusing, but the short answer is the CT will take longer to charge enough to go the same distance as your M3 would need to charge.

I am surprised I don't see any stats on the actual charging time for the Universal Wall Charger. My appointment to get it installed with the Powershare Backup Gateway 3V should happen within the next 10 days, but I would think someone has this data. I don't think the previous wall charger and the universal wall charger provides additional charging speeds.

I do know that a 110V outlet gives you 3 miles per hour maximum plugged into a Cybertruck.

I did some math (without losses). I'm on 208V 48A (which drops to about 203V under full load), and expect 12.5 hours zero to full. If you're on 240v it's a bit better at 10.67 hours. With losses included probably add an hour or two. That is the maximum charging speed. You can charge at less current than that from any of the recent wall chargers, but not higher because the limit is the truck's built in charging circuit.

I'm just going to add some data.

I have a 240v on a 50amp breaker. Best I get is about 18miles/hr at a limit of 32A.

I didn't realize 32A was the max the CT can take?
