It's the die-hard midgate fanatics, who refuse to accept reality, until their CyberTruck shows up without it. ?
if THAT'S the motivation, let me just shout:

THERE IS NO MIDGATE OR REAR ROLL-DOWN REAR WINDOW - ZERO ACCESS TO VAULT FROM CABIN!!!!

You sound just a bit overconfident about your statement, Cvalue, unless you are an actual technician working on the Cybertruck production line.

Personally speaking, my opinion is that there will be a rear roll-down window. Of course, I am prepared to be wrong, but my gut says there will be.

I keep picturing a cybertruck in a headon collision with a Miata with them both going 20mpg. I think it would just go straight over it.....
If your CT is doing ANYTHING in MPG, there's an issue...

It says, "completed crush," not "crash."
There is a Federal requirement for Roof Crush Resistance testing. If the note scrawled on the window means "Completed (preparations, ) Crush Ready", perhaps this CT is headed somewhere to get its roof crushed. Here is the link to the NHTSA's page about Roof Crush Resistance testing. https://www.nhtsa.gov/fmvss/roof-crush-resistance

Looking forward to Tesla breaking the official roof-crushing machine again. :D

I guess I don’t follow the fixation on more back seat photos. We’ve seen about enough photos and video to know what it looks like back there, features included

In terms of material info about the back seat area, it seems like we’re left wondering most about dimensions and volume - which photos aren’t going to resolve?
Have we already seen pictures of the new video display built into the center console for the backseat HVAC controls, and stuff?

Stephen definitely got better pictures than I did. I think I couldn't get over the fact that I was literally alone with 2 Cybertrucks. My brain couldn't process that.

If you haven't seen the Cybertruck in person yet, just know, no pictures can do it justice. It's so much better in person.

I'm fine either way, but how do you explain the photograph showing a guy's head through the rear window opening? I guess there could be someone sitting in the bed. ???

there’s a helmet there is all I know - maybe someone sitting in bed leaning back on bulkhead. Unclear

but rear windows are open, anyone in a helmet would be visible, esp if wearing safety vest

to say nothing of the doubtful possibility that any grownup wearing a helmet could get their head through the CT’s rear window - it’s just not that big an aperture

I'm leaning toward there being a powered rear window for airflow purposes into the vault. As you said, it's a short vertical piece of glass, so it doesn't need much space below to allow it to drop 8-10 inches. Time will tell.
