Which part are you waiting on? They had to order the steering actuator and some other parts for mine and they are saying could be 2 more weeks till I can get it delivered ... but they are waiting on Eng to approve the parts
Just the Accelerator Pedal rivet, or new Pedal assembly with rivet pre-installed. If I were you I would request a new VIN. At least you would know you’ll have in in 2 weeks or less

I would say it is blindingly obvious Tesla could communicate better, especially when they require such a narrow delivery window. That was main reason I went to SC is knowing my truck is on the lot helps me prepare to get insurance quote and be ready for delivery and start to think about work schedule etc for delivery.

You can't generally afford a 100k truck without working pretty damn hard. Therefore, I think those that are saying it's fine for Tesla to message you out of the blue and say you have 3 days to get your vehicle, take it or leave it are unrealistic. Tesla SCs would also be a lot more efficient with deliveries if they weren't dealing with so many phone calls and drop ins for info. A 3 month delivery window followed by an updated on expected build date followed by an update that vehicle is in transit to delivery site would be simple to do in the app and would probably take care of 90+% of phone calls and anger and it would be automated and thus low cost communication.

We are already going through distress trying to get our CTs, we don't need more.

So how does people complaining about it reduce your distress?

I'm in the middle of the hold just like many others.

I think it is cathartic for some. It is also justifiable to call Tesla as there was a post where a truck was on lot at Libertyville for 1.5 weeks and sc said it wasn't in and the the poster called main Tesla number and just like that took delivery in 48 hours.

If SC quality and communication was more uniform you would not be burdened with reading a thread like this.

I personally think it relieves some stress to be able to vent in here with others in the same situation. At least we can chat amongst each other and share stories. It definitely makes me feel better.
Blowing off some steam is nice when stuck in CyberPurgatory.

I picked up my CT today in Marina Del Rey and there were at least 20 CT waiting to be delivered. They told me that they were aiming on doing 10 deliveries today. There were only two CyberBeasts on the lot with all the others being 4WD. I was surprised at how dirty all the cars were with some covered in bird poop and most with filthy floor mats.
Can you give us the details of your order ?

* first 5 of RN

* date you configured your truck

* date you got your VIN

* VIN Number range (6800, 4500, etc)

* Date you took delivery (if applicable)

Picked mine up today from Scottsdale. It was originally scheduled 4/13 then containment. Mine has a rivet in the pedal (for those that think they’re not doing that any longer) and they rolled it out to me today. It was a great experience. All around. Looked to have about 6 or 7 in the lot. So excited. Hope everyone gets theirs soon!
Congrats!! I'm waiting for mine from Scottsdale as well. I assume one of those 6 or 7 is mine. Got a VIN 4/9 but never a delivery date. Supposedly waiting for final inspection, then Rivitgate.... Still no delivery date...

The fact they cut service center people (besides a few bad apples) is bumming me out... Tesla has 30B in the bank and if anything needs to add SC staff, not cut it.
