Two weeks ago, I drove my truck to Schuyler Quarry Gardens in VA. It was in FSD mode and drove the route fine. About 10 miles from the destination, I lost contact with my Sirius Radio, and it went to a searching mode. I was able to switch to FM radio, and it also worked fine.

About 3 hours later, I returned to the vehicle and tried to send my next destination to the truck via the iPhone app. Nothing. I tried to load the destination via the voice "Navigate to command" and I get an error message, "No Connection". I cannot get any voice command to work, nothing. The autopilot works but without a destination I cannot use FSD and there is NO map displayed on the screen. Sirius does not work, FM radio works fine, my iPhone has a 5g connection with 2bars and also works fine. After driving about 15 miles from Schuyler everything comes back and works normal.

This weekend I repeated the trip with EXACTLY the same results and error messages. Is this something that a SC should investigate? Is there a setup that needs to be tweaked? Are there other trouble shooting steps I should take or error messages to research?

I appreciate any thoughts, help or suggestions.

I've had that issue happen a few times these last few months premium connectivity stops working think its more of a AT@T network issue which is what it uses . i just switch to my backup Starlink and connect via WIfi

You are presumably in a region where att has no coverage. The screenshot shows no signal right up top . If your phone has some bars I am assuming it’s a different carrier. Either way next time WiFi spot to your phone and get your destination in. Some features need an internet connection.

Schuyler doesn’t have the best ATT/Tmobile service (Tesla’s use one or the other), but shouldn’t offline street maps work with no reception? Do you have the latest navigation update downloaded?

Happened to me after a software update about a month ago. I had to reboot the truck twice and then wait about 20 minutes and it reinitialized. Never happened again.

I do have a Verizon mobile acct, and the phone worked great. I did talk with Tesla Support and they (while not referencing the mobile carrier) said some "rural" areas do not have cellular coverage. She suggested I try,
1) a screen reboot, or
2) turn on my iPhone hotspot on and see if the truck connects to that.

I had not thought about the Starlink mini, just hate to add another monthly bill. It would be nice if the truck had Starlink built in! @aeroguy I do have the all latest updates, yes, the map would have been great, not sure if it should have been up offline or not??

Often lost connection in the Shenandoah valley in my X. It would state that it is routing without a connection (or words to that effect)but would route me based on resident maps in the memory. Not sure what maps are resident in the CT but if they are not only dynamic based on internet connection then there is something more wrong.
If you can remember the date time group when it occurred, they can look it up so it can be fixed. I think the Service Center (SC) can only access about a week of errors on each vehicle so get to your SC soonest.

I went into service mode and ran a diagnostic on the modem and that fixed it for me.
