I am having a problem with my CT Mobile Connector. When I try to plug it into the bed outlet and charge another car, it would only go to 32 amps once or twice out of 10 or 12 tries. It would usually default to 6 amps and an error message would pop up on the car's screen that I'm trying to charge (see attachment). In addition, there would be a red light on the face of the Mobile Connector. I tried removing and reinserting the pigtail a few times, but was only able to get it to work twice over quite a number of tries.

When I made a recent appointment to get my wheel covers installed, I added the Mobile Connector issue to the appointment. When I went to pick up the truck afterward, they said they would give me a new mobile connector and sure enough, it was on the front seat (all boxed up) when I picked up the truck. I drove home and took it inside the house and opened it later. Much to my surprise it looked like the standard mobile connector with the chrome on the face of it. It had a different part number from the original black face CT MC. I wrote back a few notes in my service appointment with photos about it being different, and their response was that this was the only mobile connector they had and they would have to look into it.

I went to the Tesla website and they don't list the CT mobile connector or Powershare MC, etc....

I guess I'll have to drive back to the Service Center with both of the MCs and try to point out the differences in the two units. Has this happened to anyone else? Curious to see how they handled it for you...Thanks....
