I wouldn’t give that number too much credit.

You are in the place in line where how quickly Tesla ramps up production is as important as when they start production.

The bottom line? Tesla will be sending out configuration e-mails to all Cybertruck reservation holders before production begins.

Single, Dual and Tri Motor reservation holders will have a chance to configure a 2023 Quad Motor ($85,900 estimated MSRP) and receive their CT sooner as Elon stated that the Quad Motor will go into production first. I predict that the more affordable Dual motor version won’t be offered until 2024-2025.

I hope if they do that they will give the original 3 motor preorders the first shot to make the change so we dont lose our place in line....if that makes sense

Lose it to whom? You're like 40% of the orders.

I meant like if I have 5,000th in line, if I would keep that place or if someone that was 10,000th in line for the tri motor could jump ahead of me.

Maybe. But if they're ready to buy, and you're not, who can fault Tesla for selling it to them?

Agreed...but if for some reason the 10,000th person got notification prior to when I did, that would kind of suck

If they're making more than a thousand cars a week, and increasing every month, how long should they wait for you?

From the Reservation spreadsheet here are the numbers of entries per configuration
Single 2392
Dual 15525
Tri 14644
Quad 311
total 32872

This is just what I got when I took the basic "Motor" as a sort.
The entries are far form complete and I am skeptical of the process that determines the number in line and delivery date since so much has changed.
I moved form a Single to a Dual and I don't see it reflected in the spreadsheet.
Best we have at this point
