"Ground control to Major Tom. Commencing countdown engines on..." That's how I feel each morning when I enter 007's spaceship cabin. I tell him where I want to go, activate FSD and arrive at my destination anxiety free. No road rage. No tickets. No drama. The most technologically advanced vehicle on the road. The safest passenger vehicle on the road. The most outrageous vehicle on the road. And after over a year of ownership, the most reliable, cheapest to operate, and issue free vehicle I've owned in over 40 years. It is everything I expected from Elon when I placed my reservation after he introduced it and so much more. My first Tesla has made driving anything else seem like I'm operating a mule-driven wagon.

Hi, long time no see. Long story short, I was an original cyber truck reservation holder, got my number called, paid the thousand plus dollars to take delivery, and never pulled the trigger. Hindsight 20/20and depreciation , I think that’s was a good decision.
I think I still want the CT, but I’m asking you, the owners, who have had their truck for a while do you still think it’s worth it? I’ve read stuff about the front light bar being OEM verse China made, how do you even know which one you have? I hear things about car washes, not sure of the validity. So I’m coming to you, the real owners, the people that know, the cyber truck club. Let me know what you think.
Absolutely.

Yes I would do it again! I’ve had my AWD truck since last October (7,925 miles) and love it more every day. It rides WAY better than our ‘23 dual motor Model X, hauls whatever you need, the 4 wheel steering is amazing and it goes through car washes w/o any problems. Don’t let the FUD people dissuade you - it is a great vehicle!

True, but let's not forget the AI FUD bots. You cannot tell them from real humans. Anti-Elon, anti-Tesla, anti-Cybertruck AI bots have been unleashed on the Net in large numbers. They are cheap enough that the bad actors would deploy even more, but it would just make it even more obvious that it was overblown AI FUD. They are trained to make consumers and policymakers believe the vast majority of people have a negative view of everything Elon, Tesla, etc. There are even anti-EV bots (non-Tesla specific) which tells me it's probably not legacy auto manufacturers deploying these bots, it's more likely people with oil and gas interests who have deeply held biases and beliefs and know how valuable it is to their empires to move the needle of public opinion as much as possible.

This is a huge problem in any society that depends upon democracy for policy decisions because it twists and distorts reality, and thus the true will of the people. It makes us all more stupid. At least those of us who are susceptible to it, which is a majority of society. Even people who think Elon and Tesla are basically good, become tainted to a degree.

So, Don't let the FUD people or the FUD AI bots dissuade you, the Cybertruck is a great vehicle, and Elon is making great contributions to daylighting some of the biggest problems facing humanity today.

12 months it seems like it was just yesterday extremely excited every time I see it every time I drive it. It’s as if it’s the first time this thing is just sick. OK unbelievable quite honestly one of the best products ever made.

That says a lot having owned it through an Alaskan winter! I can just hear all the gullible people now, "It must be fake, I thought electric trucks didn't work in the cold!" If only they knew more about the things they say won't work.

Nice photo!

After more than a year with my CT as my daily driver, I simply cannot imagine giving it up - not considering the alternatives available today. If not for steer-by-wire, I could see myself in a Rivian R1T, and if I also didn't need the truck bed, I could even see a Model X or Y. You can engineer a smooth suspension without the air, but there's only one way to achieve the CT's steer-by-wire experience.

If you think about it, there is no car, at any price, that can boast the full set of features present in CT. I feel like Tesla should get more credit for not demanding MORE money for the CT. If CT had hit the market with the originally promised 500 miles of range, there'd be no grounds at all to poo poo it. Go ahead and argue about the looks, but that's subjective and most of the people I've met like the looks.

Bottom Line: Since I took delivery, I haven't once felt like I got ripped off. My vacations have gotten better; I've gotten more home improvement projects done, with greater ease; I no longer pay for fuel (except on road trips) since I have plenty of solar on my roof; I didn't notice when the power went out in my neighborhood, thanks to PowerShare; FSD has made my commute 90% less stressful; and I've been blown away by the ride quality - I love it! Absolutely no regrets about getting the CT.

Agree it’s awesome and nothing even comes close but that’s such a domestic violence victim response chillidog.
“Tesla should be given credit for not beating us up more”, even though “we deserved it” and “they could have.”

As a real owner, I think you are missing out big-time! I had high hopes and expectations for the Cybertruck, based on all the hype, but the actual product blew me out of the water in ways I couldn't have imagined before I got it.

Yes. Early Foundation AWD. I have Powershare installed. It has been worth it.
