Well, half a bed.Gear tunnel, I think is really cool. This thing has a trunk behind the seats. The gear tunnel. A trunk in front. And that lockable tonneau cover. It has like 70 cubic feet of lockable cargo space. And it's still a truck with a bed.
I agree. R1S makes more sense to me. It is a foot shorter and has larger consolidated space you can choose to use how you want (including car camping). You can put a plywood in there too for occasional DIY home improvement jobs.2) I used to like the concept of the gear tunnel, but after seeing it in detail, I'm starting to wonder if it's actually that useful. Long narrow storage could be great for skis or paddles, but it's just not long enough for that use. Also too narrow for bags, boxes, etc. It's kind of a weird space that's not really designed to fit anything (except the camp kitchen). I do like the gear tunnel door-benches though. Those are fantastic.
This is pretty much in line with how Tesla charges for range differences, though Tesla does often include other features.. Ford is also talking about their 70 mile extended range option being $7,000 which is roughly the same per mile. All 3 trucks are roughly $100/ mile additional range. But he says that there is an "even looonger range" version coming. It will be an additional battery for $10k that will extend the range to around 400 miles. Somehow that seems really expensive for just 100 extra miles of range. At least with the CT2 to CT3 upgrade, you get an extra motor with your extra 200 miles of range and still get priced about the same as the Adventure.
I wasn’t into his style of speaking or his strange way of saying the truck was the best ever followed by listing off issues that made it leaving much to be desired. Just made the whole thing seem unreliable and inconsistent. It would be so easy to take quotes out that purported the vehicle to either be the best thing since sliced bread or a total waste of metal. I think he’s trying to be fair and list both pros and cons but he tends to make extreme statements about mediocre features.im I the only 1 that cant stand this guy?
I have no idea why
