Just remembered these images

Tesla Cybertruck DRL, headlights, fog lights, sidemarkers, tail light bar ON in night time video (on Tundra Cybertruck leaving supercharger) 1693545629341

This appear to be negative/positive molds or jigs.

also explains the light portion of the light bar being "dead".

There' seems to be deeper wells for the left/right portions opposed to the center running lights.

Survey says, headlights.

These don't move while the lights are on.
The GIF shows a custom animation of the headlights. In normal function, powering the headlights causes them to rise.

I would demonstrate, but I gave up my Miata years ago 😭

I remember Elon saying the lightbar at the top of the windshield would be in the production model.

sigh... No, you are probably right. I was hoping they had figured out how to make the blade light work as headlights but it seems those lower two are, indeed, the headlights.
The headlights looked really bright to me .. and bright is what matters.

Can you show a clip of the bottom as headlights? No, you can’t . Your claim is baseless.
Here's your chance to get a free Cybertruck (almost). Make that bet with cvalue for the reveal price of a dual motor model. ;)

what here is being called the "fog lights" are the headlights, between the bumper and hood

the light bar on the upper hood, meanwhile, is a running light, as with the Lightning, etc.

any disagree?

I completely agree. The light bar does not contain the headlights.

PS: I *do* notice that no one is yet willing to make the opening bet that I’ve pre-called

let’s test some conviction, boys!
Seems pretty obvious where most of the light is coming from. Those bottom ones are the headlights. The top bar is barely putting out any light in comparison to those two little ones under the frunk.

I don't bet, but this is a pretty easy win.

Nothing saying the light bar doesn't contain the brights, tho, no regulation on that one that you can't have more than two visible lamps. The limit is four.

I don't really see what the difference is. In this video both the light bar and the headlights are fairly bright, from an aesthetic standpoint. And in my Model Y whenever I'm driving the DRL and headlights are on. It's only the fog lights that get turned off sometimes.
I don't really care for having headlights AND "fog" lights on at the same time. Fog lights are most effective with the headlights off so you don't get the glare from your headlights.
You are right that from an aesthetic standpoint, when the blade is on with the lower lights, it doesn't really matter which are the "headlights". But, if you don't want or don't like the lights in the bumper area, it's a sad day.
