Nearly all houses have 240v. Many just don't have any particular 240v outlets. And those outlets are always going to provide less amps than a dedicated Wall Connector can put out.

So I will need a 240v installed where I want to charge?
Don’t bother with the tech
The break down is you can plug it into a normal outlet 110 V however you will get a very slow rate of charge and most Likely need to visit a superchargers here and there
You can also get a 220 outlet installed and it will basically get double the charge per hour. if you have a electric dryer with a 240 and it’s close you can steal that power or make a extension cord for 220 or you can get a dedicated 220. Or you can get a dedicated hard wire 220 charger.
you can charge on a house plug all day it’s just a very slow charge

Standard 120v outlet will get you to 1.2kW (~3 miles an hour)
Tesla Wall Connector on a dedicated 240v 60z circuit can get up to 11kW. (~27 miles an hour)

But the thing is, you can set that Wall Connector to whatever your house can support. Say, if your parking spot is a 100 feet away, getting that 60a all the way there might be costly. Or maybe you don't have all the capacity on your breaker panel...

...So that Wall Connector (or the Mobile Connector) can be set to different amounts. Got a 20a tool outlet in the garage? That's super common, and boosts you to 1.9kW (about five miles an hour). Got dryer outlet? That's thirty to fifty amps at 240v, which is most of what a Wall Connector can do, and get you 9.6kW (or 24 miles per hour).

I ran a 240v, 30a extension cable to my parking place, because it's a hundred feet away (and about three stories lower) than the dryer outlet it's plugged into.

You probably should talk to an electrician, but maybe find one that's willing to be flexible, because my setup which isn't optimal would still get me almost fifteen miles an hour with a Cybertruck.

I don’t even know what that means we don’t argue I try to help you see normal thinking and you say “that’s nonsensical “
