Also no email here, I signed up within ~45 minutes or so of the offer going live. I did have my account bound with Say however, I don't know if that makes a difference.

For those receiving the email asking for confirmation, did you have the "Say" platform bound to your investor tab prior to receiving the email?
My stock is with Say and I have had no email.

My stock ownership was confirmed via Say, but likely only with a brokerage account with less than the 500 required as I have three diff brokerages and multiple accounts within those brokerage firms holding my Tesla shares. I have approximately 1,000 shares In total, so no extra points

In addition my original reservation was made 12/20/19 RN11316xxxx. I signed up for this shareholder offer the evening of the first day it was posted on this forum 3/11/24.

Not sure what criteria Tesla is using to send emails for ownership verification or the get in the line for purchase

The only logic that makes sense is they are prioritizing emails to people with lower RNs. Unless someone here can claim they received the email having a 114 or 115 series RN.

I'll claim that.

I really wonder how many buyers will pay the $100,000+ for the Cybertruck?

Will Tesla hit a wall when they get to 40,000-50,000 Cybertrucks sold at the $100,000 plus FSD price?

A vast, vast majority of folks on the Waiting List really thought the CT would be a lot less expensive than that. In fact many thought they would get a Cybertruck for around $50K. They truly believed that.

I don't think we will know until the end of the year....but how many $100K vehicles does BMW sell a year? Porsche? In fact, how many $100,000 passenger vehicles are sold in the US each year?

Imo yes. Even when the cyber truck is 60k, i can see it hitting limit just due to polarity and hype dying down

I have a Tesla service center a few miles from my house.
This week I was driving by...and there was a Cybertruck in the showroom!

I stopped, went in, nobody in the showroom. Just the receptionists. No frenzy. Here is a Cybertruck! Nobody was there looking at it. That made my TSLA stock pucker a bit.

The hype will die down sooner than people think. By the end of this year, the Justin Bieber's of the world will probably have moved on to something else. The Cybertruck will be "so last year". LOL. I hope not though, like I said, my TSLA stock is already puckering.

+1 with that except for one thing; I do not think that Tesla will get to 50,000 CTs this year. They might get to 40,000 but that is many months away. Right now they can still harvest conversions to those for whom the money has less value than the time; but that group will eventually be exhausted as well. I see this 'event'/'promotion' as a way to locate those people and that is my current hope of why I haven't received the 'proof' email yet.

Agreed, I don't think Tesla will deliver 50,000 Cybertrucks by Christmas.

I do think they will need to switch to offering both the Foundation Series AND the $79,000 version by Jan 1, 2025.

What will sales be in 2025? They should be able to sell 100,000+ Cybertrucks in 2025. More? IDK.
We shall see.

Will Tesla ever get to 250,000 Cybertruck deliveries per year? Again, IDK, but the price point will be critical.

All we know (RE: your last sentence) is that the factory is currently rated with the state of Texas for 125K/year capacity of Cybertrucks (and that is just a regulatory designation), and that Elon said that, if demand is there, they could eventually ramp to 250,000 Cybertrucks per year. Anything else that has been floated on social media or MSM is a fabrication of one kind or another.

I would not be at all surprised to see Tesla hit a production 'rate' of 125,000 Cybertrucks/year in 2024. Demand? Who knows.

I agree, I think they will hit the 125k/yr run rate by december 31st. The question is, how fast do they get there. That's the real piece of the puzzle that will determine how many vehicles they ship this year. If they somehow quadruple their output between now and end of Q2, they'll hit 80-90k vehicles. If it takes until end of Q3, they'll be at 50-60k. Even if they just maintain the current run rate they'll hit 35,000 by end of year.

Demand is what interests me. What Tesla can build, IMO, is not that important. Is there demand?

IMO, there are only so many humans in the US that will spend over $80,000 for a vehicle. And, a lot less willing to spend over $100,000.

We should see signs by the beginning of fall (and then people can start thowing out excuses if the #s are lower than expected).

I used to own a Lexus RX, not because it was a 'luxury' vehicle (far from it) but because it had the functional features I wanted. When I went to price a Model Y I compared it to the price of buying a current and comparable Lexus RX and found that the prices, even without considering gas price savings, were comparable. I say this because I have talked with ICE truck owners in the past and full-sized pickups with these features are in this ballpark and there seems to be no shortage of people that want these full-featured, full-sized pickup trucks. I do agree that the number of people willing to buy the FS Cybertruck is finite and relatively small, but I do not think that the $80K price of the AWD is going to be an impediment to selling them in volume, especially for people that qualify for the IRA or who might use it for business and can depreciate its cost over time.

1210*** here, reserved early 2024

Got my email, think they are prioritizing based on number of shares and people who pre-verified.
Stock balance is in 5 figures so pretty safe to say I have more shares than most that applied, have had them for a while along with adding to holdings.
