Finally got out for a little off-roading in the CT.

Was totally impressed w the front and rear lockers. Baja mode seemed to produce even more fun and thrust in the dirt than I expected!

Only made it out for about 15 minutes tonight w my Skydio 2+, but it was so worth it! Can’t wait to get out to our west mesa in Albuquerque soon.

I also tried Baja mode recently. Was doing 60 on a dirt road that typically we would only do 30 (15 in our m3). It was so smooth I didn’t realize. I love how the wheels don’t force the squircle to move when off-road. Was it the best thing for the truck, no… but it’s a truck, I’m gonsta have fun with it.

The odd thing is it looks like your cameraman just used a cell phone, and held it vertically in his hand. Unless there is a good reason to video in portrait mode, landscape mode should be the default orientation.
Tesla Cybertruck First time off-roading, wow! Baja Mode is a blast in my AWD CT! tb698OFDmxDN02d8xs-MPAvutiuOhI8w4DixtVnbydM

Which video do you want to see in landscape? They’re all converted to the portrait because I loaded them as shorts. The drone only shoots in landscape.

They should all be in landscape mode. Unless maybe you are doing a video study of the Statue of Liberty.

Your CT looks fabulous in white. I think we took delivery on the same day (April 9) in Bernalillo. I was the last CT off the lot that day. I dropped by the other day to get another temp tag (still awaiting my registration and title/cert of origin and my white paper tag expired May 21) and saw another dozen CTs in the parking lot. I’m up in Placitas. Hope to see you on the road one day! (or at a local ABQ brewery). 🤠

Thank you! Yeah, I love the white. So glad I took the wrap challenge on myself.

Yes, I remember seeing you and your post that week. I believe Kathy is your neighbor too. Her friend Steve sent me photos of her sitting in yours. :)
Small world.

If I had spent thousands wrapping my Cybertruck, I would probably be afraid to take it off road for fear of abrading the plastic wrap with mud, tree branches and brush, and ruining the appearance.

As it is, the metal is tough as nails.

I was a little worried about that myself, but it’s got PPF on the hood and grill. No issues on the side panels either, probably because my donuts were more like big circles and there’s very little brush on our trails in this area if you know where to stick to.

I just put the mud flaps on and think I’ll keep them. They look pretty good and give great coverage for the side spray. However, I’ll have to take them off next time I get off road. Luckily they’re so easy to put on and take off.
