Can you provide an example of anyone calling Elon 'every evil name in the book" because of his support of infrastructure and workforce education?Elon supports infrastructure to support and educate a workforce and he gets called every evil name in the book.
Ford does it and it's called "innovative" and "exciting".
Farley actually does call upon his grandfather (he was a Ford employee in the 1910’s), and it was actually pretty touching.Blah blah blah, call your grandpa.
I know people are typically speaking loosely when they appear to cheer the demise of anyone other than TeslaI must say I'm glad they are going in this direction... competition is always a good thing... keeps everyone sharp and gives customers options.
For me to back a manufacturer with my hard-earned money, they need to offer more than a good product - it has to be at a good price. New car buyers around the world demand a good price and a good price is one of the best incentives possible when the goal is to sell vehicles. Legacy auto is capable of designing and manufacturing reasonably good products, the problem is, they can't offer them at good prices. And that gap between Tesla and the rest is widening, not shrinking.Look, this should not be an Elon thing or Tesla thing... I look at capability and efficiency... right now Tesla is killing it in both categories.. but that doesn't mean that if there was another company who could do as good or better then the top seated company I would shun them. Its all about the greater good...
Elon has opened up the charging infostructure to all EV's.... now no one has the excuse of " you are only better because you have a better charging network"... now the brass tacks and true grit has to speak for themselves.
Bottom line, any company that makes a good product, I'll back... it's not a Tesla thing... It's a product thing!
I get the point, and what he’s opened up is great (better than nothing), but he’s hardly opened up the Tesla charging networknow no one has the excuse of " you are only better because you have a better charging network"... now the brass tacks and true grit has to speak for themselves.
again, beggars shouldn’t be choosers, but all Tesla committed to amounts to about 300 supercharger stations nationwide having about 2 stalls that can charge CCSTrue he hasn't opened it all up... but it's way better for non-Tesla owners than it was before.
