Well, the AWD is a bit lighter with one motor fewer... like 240 pounds lighter.
Right, which explains AWD vs tri, but as @VAF84 and @Gigahorse pointed out, FS AWD core gets 20 miles more than standard AWD core...
?‍♂
Standard AWD isn't getting the same core vs cyber bump, I think...

Context....

Non-FS, TM, AT = 301
Non-FS, TM, AS = 320
Non-FS, DM, AT = 314
Non-FS, DM, AS = 325
FS, TM, AT = 301
FS, TM, AS = 320
FS, DM, AT = 318
FS, DM, AS = 340

FS - Foundation Series
DM - Dual Motor
TM - Tri Motor
AS - All Season tires
AT - All Terrain tires

TM variants don't have a difference. So the question remains.....all else being equal how/why is an FS DM getting more rated range than a non-FS DM?

Non-FS, DM, AT = 314 --> FS, DM, AT = 318 --> 4 more miles
Non-FS, DM, AS = 325 --> FS, DM, AS = 340 --> 15 more miles

Great info, but I would never come close to those numbers in Texas. Lots of open roads and high speed limits. I also do a lot of cross city/country work related trips.
Yea, not hard to get 350miles if your doing 35mph. Real world driving on the highway is a lot different.

Easy, the laser etching removes weight. About $5000 in the package was the etching. FS FTW ?
