Yeah I think it’s because it’s not a big money maker right now and Tesla needs some wins that have to come from the other vehicles.

I had a new FSD update in my Performance Model 3 weeks ago that I still haven't tried out. The Model 3 is neglected. Why? Because the Cybertruck is too much fun to drive!

Don't get me wrong, the Model 3 outperforms the Cybertruck from a driving/handling/performance perspective, but the Cybertruck is something else. So smooth and composed, especially as the roads become more rugged.

I do miss FSD, but not enough to make me drive the Model 3.

I took another drive with it on a different route and it was pretty good. It made some mistakes. It couldn’t get right to a turn lane that had 2 solid lines for a bike lane. It also tried to go to Daytona instead of Orlando at the entrance to Interstate 4 lol. But nothing scary and nothing I couldn’t just override.

I was hoping to bring some of us back down to Earth. Not saying it won’t happen, just that it will take time because it’s hard.

The other thing is that with Robotaxi unveiling coming soon, I wonder if there’s any business reasons for CT FSD before that. CT being so high profile, a FSD accident would be unfortunate ahead of that.
