My Beast rumbles and whines at low speeds. SC folks said normal, lol! I don’t know why Tesla doesn’t have some type of high frequency signal recording device. Human hearing is not reliable at all. Most people don’t even know they have high frequency hearing loss.

The sounds others have noted here are NOT the beeping I’m hearing. Inverter sound is totally different. Two days with no sound…today the beeping started again…my wife has better hearing and she can’t ride in the truck with me, because she describes it as “painful”.

IR lights are pulsing to a serialized data stream pattern. It could be something in your truck picking up a data transmission. All that's required to make this happen is something in your speakers that is juuuuuust the right length to be a tuned antenna for that specific frequency. I don't if that's what it is, but that's my best guess.

You get noise like this all the time as a radio operator, but when you're operating radios you expect to pick up random noise. Any speaker can do this also.

that is normal. my IR lights flash like that too.
Well, I have another service appointment to try and figure out the source. Problem is everyone time I take it in, it stops making the noise.

I used to have a speaker that picked up the local Christian AM channel - tho they had something wrong with their transmitter, it bled over two bands of channels on every radio near the tower.

But that one speaker always could hear it...

I had a stereo when I was a kid that could pick up our neighbor's wireless house phone call. Just the one phone. ?

Anyone else having a high pitched beeping sound?

Last few weeks, intermittently, an annoying (Morse Code) sound is coming from somewhere near the front mirror or display. I took the truck to a service center and, of course, no sound..next day, it started up again. It’s driving me crazy. I have recorded the sound, but since they didnt hear it at the service center, they cant fix it. Some days no sound at all..other days its constant.
I know exactly what you’re talking about, when I test drove a CT before purchasing I heard that, and thought of it exactly like what you’re describing, sound was coming from the front left to center, couldn’t tell exactly, but it was wired. Still placed an order and thankfully mine has not made any sounds like that, I’ve got an AWD and I test drove a FS. Weird sound for sure.

Good to see I'm not the only one with that random beeping. Last week the Council Bluffs SC couldn't find it and tried to attribute it to my aftermarket camera mirror but that's not it. Sound is there even when I disconnect the power to that.

I think I figured out where the high pitched sound is coming from..caught it when recording with my phone..

First, please don't try to hold your phone and record while driving; it's extremely dangerous (more so than drunk driving). Have a passenger to do that.

Second, what is the mounting bracket under your mirror for? Did you tap into a power feed somewhere for an accessory?

So it's probably a bad trace or capacitor on one of the circuit boards. As the voltage changes, something is vibrating in the audible hertz range. I have more than a few boards which make sounds like that unintentionally because they produce an electrical signal in the audible hertz range to power electroluminescent lighting.

But I've heard LED voltage regulator boards do it before.

And up there you have several cameras, IR LEDs, and isn't the internal radar unit suspected to be there as well? Was that ever confirmed?

An odd solder joint might do that.

Either way, you have the video. Make them fiddle with it. Don't accept no.

Seems like my truck is having this issue now, didn't seem to happen before I had my steering wheel replaced... Wonder if that's the culprit
