Does anyone know what home charging cord will be used for CT ? A while back I asked Tesla and then they didn’t know. I’ve heard rumors of faster charging technology and wasn’t sure if the new if available cord would have a larger amp circuit breaker.

I plan on using my current one that I use for my M3, just going to take longer. As it is is I am using a 60 amp circuit and my garage has a 100 amp service off my houses 200 amp service. I don't know too many people who would have more than 100 amp service to their garage unless it is a service garage.

It‘s worth understanding what you’re expecting from home charging.
I have a Tesla wall charger set on 7kw and it can overnight charge an almost empty Model 3.
Most of my daily driving is charged in an hour or two.
The CT is less efficient than the 3, but still easily charged with existing equipment.

I have upgraded my home service to 400amp from the 200 I had for future use our hot water heater went and we replaced it with a tankless it needs 4 2 pole 40amp breakers. Would expect to hear from the new Ct. owners if the configuration of the cord may change or need higher gage wire to accomplish faster charging.

Not sure if supercharger cords are heavier gage wire

Any nacs will do. But get the one with powershare if you're spending $$

I have a nema 14-50 and travel cable for my MYP.

as I understand it, travel cords don't come with the cars anymore.

Not even for 79990
