Actually, silly posts on this forum is where the silliest FUD pieces from the press originate.

The fact that you claimed you're not blabbing it to the press makes me think that might actually be your intention. Because you brought the press up, it wasn't even on my radar.
It's not FUD if it is a fact.

Absurd, quit being a troll

Interestingly, after sitting in the sun for the last week while I was on vacation the dent is gone. Which makes me wonder if it is temperature related. Or possibly related to using the frunk, I’ve cut back on frunk usage recently since getting the bed divider…
I also noticed that the dent is much smaller on both sides, if not entirely gone. Hard to say whether it's expansion of the metal or something that just took time to wear in.

I didn't think to look at it until this thread came up and I posted in it, but I don't see the dents the way I did when I picked up the truck and for the first month or so.

Sure we would. It stands out like a sore thumb when it is there because of the way it twists the light.

I have the exact dent but on passenger side. I noticed it after two weeks usage and I don’t think I saw it firstly delivered. It was not that bad but now I am starting to worry it may got worse if it is truly caused by frunk usage. I will mention it during my service appointment late July and see what will they say about it.

It's FUD if it's pulled out of context or scale.

Would we even be noticing this small of a flex in a painted surface?

Yes, you would notice these kind of defects on a painted vehicle, especially a black or dark color.

Facts, not FUD.

Especially a color that reflects less light? Really?

This seems in stark contrast to the 'get black, it doesn't get as dirty' comments.

I've got the similar light bend going on the funk passenger too. It's mild but spotted it when wiping things down. Looking at the panel from the side its far from straight too on either side so maybe bi-product of the weld. Doesn't seem to be the actual frunk hinge.

I ALSO have the same hood indentation on the passenger side frunk... What did everyone do? Live with it, replace the hood or somehow adjust the torque from inside the hood?

Car built 10/24...

I noticed a slight indentation in the left part of the hood exactly where it attaches to the ā€˜arm’ underneath. It is very subtle and hard to see on pictures. Definitely is new and wasn’t there before. I have been using my frunk more recently. I’m curious if anyone else is seeing this as I’m wondering if it could be related to how the hood stainless steel is attached to the ā€˜arm’…perhaps it is bolted too tightly and is causing the indentation with more use.

I have this as well. VIN 4xxx

Much more pronounced on the passenger side but you can see it on the driver side as well. Tesla’s body shop told me it’s due to the stamping process when they attach the arms to the hood. They offered to replace my hood but since I’ve had the car since April the new SS would stand out since the rest of my panels have already started a slight patina.

I decided to just ignore it and ended up wrapping the car with PPF from Tesla. I went with cyber black.

The hood looks flawless now ?
