To keep kids safe in the kitchen, store knives in high places or locked drawers. Always watch them and create a safe play area. Teach kids that knives are dangerous and show safe habits. Use stove knob covers and appliance locks, and keep counters clear of sharp objects. Give kids safe, age-appropriate tasks under supervision.

You can't lock your Cybertruck. If the edges are very sharp, small kids, who are often careless and lack awareness, could get hurt. How can you prevent accidents if they play tag in the backyard? You can't always remember to move your truck.
FFS, we all love our grand kids, kids and our families, the truck isn't going to murder them.....thinking you should pass on the CT!

Really, I didn't know either, even after 3 years of owning a Model Y. Is this a new feature in CT?
Maybe but there is no question that the CT has one. Scared the bejesus out of me :)

Although, the tri motor order says delivery in october-december which may be feasible. Anyone see the same for tri motor and get a vin like the next week? I just would hate to pay the $1000 and have them tell me 1 month later its ready…
It took 5 months for my Beast to show up from December 28 to delivery on May 31.

I received my approval to proceed a week after purchasing a model Y (because I was in approx 230k in the Que) I didn’t accept or deny in hopes that I could postpone a year 😬. I’m thinking I’m not alone here in waiting considering (interest rates, economy,…etc) there’s only so long that they will wait for people like us so I’m thinking in the meantime, they allow more people further down the queue to customize
Literally same. See my post above lol.

I got the same email. I'm around #600k
Nothing new on the website
Apparently a Foundation Series sales ploy for more money.
I'm going to wait for what I ordered; the 3 motor critter.

At this point it looks like they are going to milk every reservation for the FS limited edition. Why not, right? Sure try to get as much as you can when you dumped so much into getting the truck produced, but Tesla and the CT are having some very bad publicity and sales are slowing on other models so maybe a normal priced CT would brighten the mood. But I don’t think Elon actually gets that.
Agreed. Smart to make as much as they can but it is a little disappointing that the "Limited" F series aren't as exclusive as they claimed to be. Here I felt lucky to be selected lol. Even if it needed to be towed 5 days after I got it and again the day the service shop gave it back to me.. I'll post about it soon. Suspecting it's a coolant leak issue.

I was surprised when I got my invitation to order. I reserved the tri-motor within a week of the roll out in 2019. The invitation says it is being offered to early reservation holders. What constitutes an early reservation holder? At any rate, I am going to buy it.

Im up to 4 friends that have order invites and are deferring...not because they don't want the truck but because of the pricing, confident they'll all get one when the FS $20k premium goes a way. I believe less a "cant afford/interest rate" concern and more of a most expensive vehicle they would have ever bought / big leap for an unconventional vehicle / perceived value proposition uncertainty.

Now if Tesla would just deliver my beast (day 94) and they get to experience it first hand, I can turn at least 2 of them, FS or not!

Geez… I’m in the 115 group, didn’t reserve until 2021 and was anticipating invite middle of next year… based on what I’m reading, could this come earlier?

Got my invite to order on 5/29/24 as well. Placed my reservation (RN11328XXXX) in Feb 2020 and estimate I was about 500K in line per the spreadsheet. I'm in California.

I didn't sign up for a $100K truck, I signed up for a $50K truck. Tesla overpromised and underdelivered. I still may order once it drops to $80K unless the Aptera comes out first and is more compelling to me. (CT solar panels was one of the selling points that appealed to me, which of course would have raised the price even more, but now Aptera is promising an affordable solar car).

Just received, May 29. I am RN 11323XXX. My place in line is 495,744. How can I be getting my truck now? Is everyone passing up their opportunity? Am I getting catfished somehow?
I'm in the low 400k and I got an email Wednesday as well, I live in Texas btw. I would rather wait to get my truck later in the year and not get a 20k markup foundation series truck. Still unsure what to do because I want the truck and like to think that the foundation series would bring value to the truck when I do resell it, but then again I also don't want an early version of the truck so they can workout the bugs.
