I need a JACK

I got this bottle jack/jack stand combo and it worked pretty well when I used to to switch over to my winter tire set-up. It's nice because it can auto catch the jack stand as you're using the bottle jack, and it can range between 11"-21". The jack has a saddle and I couldn't find a flat jack pad to use with it, so I wound up grinding the wings flat to make it flat.

Does the 11 inch minimum height fit while in Medium height mode? I am getting about 10 3/4" height where I measured.

Did you set the CT in medium high and jack mode? Where did you specifically place the jack under the frame. I took a photo of where the jack point might be front left driver's side. Is this the spot?

Super odd/dump that it is not well marked on the underside of the body. Common on all cars I've had.

I don’t recall if I set to medium or to high but either will work if your jack fits under and you place the truck in jack mode. I believe you have located the proper jacking spot as was shown from the picture from the manual. The jack stand spots are inward from the jacking spots so it is easy to jack up the truck then lower onto a jack stand.

No the jack stands go in a different location that has a center dimple per the owners manual. The spot you identified looks like that point where your floor jack goes, not the jack stands. If my truck wasn't covered with snow I would shoot some pics but the owners manual is accurate and has pics.

Have not tried it but looks interesting. I do have a compressor and tank that would work with that and I suppose if I were jacking up the truck frequently, I would be more inclined to splurge and use one of those, but I'm happy with my choice for now.
