Two things I love and hate about about my CT:

I love how it drives and I love FSD, and I hate deciding between the two!

I love how it sounds with and without the sound system, and I hate deciding between the two!

Anybody else feel this way?

I hate how there's no display in front of the driver. After driving a Model X and having to adjust the steering wheel just so in order to see the display, I love not having a display blocked by the steering wheel...

I love FSD;
I hate the “beta version” wiper that auto turns on, rain or shine (generally shine here in SoCal) at the same distance from my home during FSD.

By the way who releases beta versions of sw where functions are auto-activated as default? I get that cameras are vital to FSD but until the auto-wiper feature performs properly it should default to off and advise driver to activate the auto feature or manually run the wiper when the camera visibility degrades.

I love the shape and the aerodynamics afforded by it but hate the ergonomics of not being able to reach into the cab end of the bed.

I love the tonneau mechanism and how it rolls up but I hate that it has to go in front of the rear window for multiple reasons like needing a digital rearview, no pass-through etc.

Love having a tailgate surface for all sorts of stuff from bench to cooking surface but hate the sharp edges of the tailgate when it’s down. My kids have bumped heads on those corners more than once and it’s always scary. There is real potential for injury there.

I love the folding up rear seats but hate that they are not individual so 2/3 of the seat can’t be lifted if there is a car seat installed.

I love having an electric truck that makes very little impact on the environment I go adventuring in, but hate that Tesla cancelled the range extender. I also hate the 600w draw for battery heating which makes solar range extension an uphill battle.

I love having bed plugs with that big of an inverter and AC plugs in the cabin but hate that they can’t be used while level 2 charging making passthrough Impossible. Also sometimes wish they had put one of those plugs in the frunk.

I love the ability to stand on the bumper but hate that it’s completely covered up when the tailgate is open making it not useful as a step.

I love FSD and the rear camera but hate the location of it which makes it not useable when the tailgate is open. They could have put it on or behind the aero flap or by the license plate.

I love the supercharging abilities but hate what it takes to get the cables to reach the wheel arch area on some superchargers. A port a little further back or by the tail lights would have probably helped this.

I love steer by wire and four wheel steering. Period.

I love air suspension but think there was a real missed opportunity to provide a way for tire pressure adjustment. Even just a user accessible compressor.

2 things I hate: the left cup holder and the right cup holder. Absolutely love everything else.
Well the right cup holder is easily remedied with one of these.

I have bought a metric shit-ton of accessories and it’s still one of my favorites.
In the left one I have one of these most of the time depending on what I’m drinking and the other rests in the door pocket. One for Red Bull cans and the other for my regular sized coke zero can.

I love the FSD ... except when it starts edging into the Jersey divider.

I love the cruise control, best I've ever used.

I hate that I would have to be in PARK to switch to cruise control to mange the speed when I get tired of approaching the Jersey Barrier.

I agree. I wished, that Tesla would’ve at least added a HUD. I don’t like the aftermarket options.

For me, I love the Steer-by-Wire. That’s a game changer. I feel that Tesla will sooner or later bring it to all of their vehicles. Overall, everything about my FSCB is great. Probably one of the best vehicles I have owned. I’m usually the type of person that keeps a vehicle for only a year and then exchange for another one, but I’m planning to keep this one for a while. Now, one thing that annoys me the most is the FSD on the highway. In Atlanta, they have HOV lanes on all three of the interstate that runs through it. However, when on FSD, it keeps kicking me out of it for some reason. I don’t get it. In the settings, I checked the box where it gives you the option to use HOV lanes. Hopefully, Tesla will fix this with an OTA.

Wait, I’m pretty sure it is split. I’ve done it many times.
Yes. But two splits would be better. So you can lift middle seat without the door seats
