Appt made for next week. At least I can charge, albeit slower.
I would dial amp charge rate down to prevent the half of inverter still working from maxing out at 24. IF heat from high amperage is breaking a component down, that may extend its life to get you through the time element.

It would be interesting to find if the failures have been charging with wall connectors at 48 amps Vs. failures using the mobile connector allowing 32 amps.

Have to start somewhere to rule things out.

It’s an epidemic. Same thing just happened to my truck. 😢 Does it get worse with time? I can’t get to the SC until the 6th of April. First time I’ve had a ā€œrealā€ problem with my truck.

Does anyone know if these failures are reported in the Tessie app? I looked a bit but didn’t find much.

If you tap the bell icon on the upper-right corner, you can view the "Firmware Alerts" (which includes any Service Alerts). Each alert includes a full description, and a "incident rate" based on Tessie user data.

Depends. Mine went to 24/24 and would supercharge. It worked fine for over a week, but did start to give me some ā€˜charging stopped’ alerts. Mine is at the SC today getting replaced.

Some have been at 24/24 for months apparently (they didn’t realize there was a problem with the PCS).

Thanks. That’s good to know. I haven’t tried supercharging yet. Seems very odd that this is happening to so many in the same short period of time. My truck has around 25k miles and I bought it in July ā€˜24. It’s one thing if everyone with similar miles and purchase dates had this popping up, but there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason—not that I’ve looked into it very closely.

Mine was FS AWD, May 24 delivery, 33k miles.

My SC got it done in one day.

Serious question for the group:

Has anyone had the PCS replaced and then go bad again? Or, is the updated part more robust?

I've got about 34,000 miles on Fluffy and wondering if I should be concerned.

I saw a report of that in another thread. I think the first time got a -E version and second time a -G.

I gotta get a faster charger to potentially cause the issue while in warranty. I’m probably the only CT owner charging via 110 outlet 😬
