Bolts thru glass in Baja? Scary. Why not just suction cup?

Where do you want the power to traverse to the light bar? The top is solid glass back to the bed. There are the 2 side rails but I think they are solid (short of the mounting points for racks). Maybe some sort of induction power transmission through the glass to the light bar?

If the light bar was behind the glass, it would be much easier to power. But it would need to stick to the glass like the front camera does so no light leaks into the cabin.
The FSD cameras at the top of the windshield are wired in somewhere, rite? Induction would be cool

the FSD cameras are INSIDE the Cybertruck as is their wiring. Their wires don't have to pass through the glass.

But there are wires inside the windshield header, so there is power in there.

I didn't think there were any wires outside of the truck there. The original light bar up there was inside and I thought that's where the wires stayed.

I saw that but didn't believe my eyes and assume it is something else ... ie. suction cups.

The original light bar moved outside. Why not the wires? Were the lights to run on hopes and dreams?

The camera's are wired in yes. But they are under the glass. If the light bar is above the glass there will need to be power to the roof somewhere. Also, if there are going to be other powered options up there, then power would need to be available up there. Seems like induction would be a great option for that.

With the tailgate open, I can put in things much longer. 8'? 9'? If it gets much longer than that, it will need to get tied down tight so it doesn't cantilever out the back. And remember to use a red flag on anything more than 4' out the back.
