I am surprised that they did not talk about the frunk power motors on each side.

The electric motors are one on each side. Easy to see them
I was thinking they might be the horns? On the right the arm is attached to the body, on the left you can't tell if the arm goes to the frunk hinge. The cables also look fairly small, but they could maybe power it, if it is also sprung.

They do look like horn tweeters to me.

But are these also horns at the rear corners?

I was wondering the same. Maybe they are the exterior sound generator speakers at the same time.

When I first saw these on each corner I thought they might be new wide aperture radar for 360 degree coverage... but I think a speaker system is more likely and we'll just get one high res radar in the front.

Those don't look like motors to me, nor do I see how they'd connect to the lid.

Me neither. Only two things I saw on both sides like @Sousray mentioned.

possible these are the motors for the locking mechanism for the Frunk

if it’s anything like the apparent engineering considerations in the lightning Frunk closing mechs, they are concerned about keeping those Frunk lids shut

those two motors could correspond to these co-located bits on each side, that I assume are the Frunk locking mechanism

What is the middle metal latch for then though? Do they really need three latches to keep it shut, normal hoods only have one too, with a safety latch.

Maybe it's to compress the frunk lid into the seals to make it water proof for boat mode? The low loading lip with lifted grill design, was always something I thought wouldn't happen after EM announced boat mode. Would be way easier to keep the water out the frunk with a top loading tub and fixed grill panel.

The things in the rear look similar. Are they tailgate latches as well?

well, the F150 isn’t marketed as a boat, and it’s Frunk lid securing mechanisms seem strangely overbuilt

and just as you’ve said, I’ve not understood why there appears to be more concern than with any ICE hood latch mechanism

BUT maybe in the lightning it relates to it being electronically controlled, and so fail safes for accidental deploy?

I think those "two bits on each side" are the adjustable resting points for forward corners of the frunk lid, the same as those for all my vehicles' hoods. I've used them on my cars and trucks to adjust the hoods as things age, making sure that the hood doesn't rest too low or too high relative to the fenders. This is part of the "fit and finish" adjustments you can do yourself.
