I Does anyone else see this? :

I'm on the freeway and the position drifts a mile off the freeway and FSD reacts trying to get back on course. FSD tries to follow the Navigation screen as it re-routes from the incorrect position. I attached some recording of the problem.

Tesla service has replaced the GPS once almost a year ago and it didn't help. I was hoping a software update would fix the problem but I am thinking this is a hardware or design issue. I have never seen this on my other teslas (this is my 5th).

Have you tried driving directly under the satellite? 🤔

In the Service Menu, there are GPS details, like signal strength. Maybe there's an indication of the problem...

Sounds like you need connected to more GPS birds, a minimum of 3 is needed for for triangulation 5 is needed for pint point accuracy.

This happened to me a year ago from Las Vegas to the Bay Area. It was terrible. The navigation continued to get worse.and it affected the planning of my charging stops. It was very stressful and I barely made it on one leg to find a charger (<2%). I did make it home and the GPS showed me somewhere in the Mojave Desert. But after the truck slept over night the next day it was fine and has not happened again since.

First questions are usually:
- Have you tried a double scroll wheel reset/reboot?
- Do you have any aftermarket accessories installed near the GPS puck? First gen rearview mirror cameras which had unshielded cables running through that space were creating GPS interference issues. Though I haven't seen it with toll transponders I'd think about moving it lower on the windshield away from the front camera/GPS pod

I very occasionally get this when I do short trips in town. Seems like v14 ignores some of the issues some times. I assumed it needed to get warmed up a bit or some clown is running GPS jammers just in our neighborhood. Usually goes away in 5 minutes.

My truck does this every so often, but only by several yards so it hasn't been enough to do much to me outside of FSD refusing to initiate.

It might be attributed to the rise in GPS attacks on USAs GPS satellites as discussed here.

It’s a problem maybe once a month. With previous software builds I had to do a reset of sorts to get it to work again. Now it recovers after a few miles.

Service couldn’t duplicate on a five minute drive so they made sure it was plugged in (integrity check) and gave it back. Of course the next trip it happened a dozen times. 3rd appointment scheduled for next week. I’m feeling lemon law sour. Here are a couple videos.

My truck has the same problem.
Seems to be temperature related. Fine when it's cold out but goes from bad to worse as the temps warm up. I've had it in the shop several times and they have no idea how to fix it. They compare the timestamped videos to the vehicle data history and they can see the signal is lost. Unfortunately they can't figure out why and that defaults to weak satellite signals. Very frustrating and know buying FSD outright makes no sense if I'm stuck with this truck.

Don’t feel stuck. Ask to have Tesla take the truck back. If not call a lawyer. Mine is not temperature related. Happens on longer drives for me.
