Do you have to put you backup switch in beast mode to be faster, or is it going to be automatic? :sneaky:

Right now, a "flicker" outage confuses the hell out of my FS. We get these rather often in my area. Since the backup never had to engage because the grid was back so quickly, I have to go to the app and tell it to start charging again. Would be nice if this updated installation solved for that.

Okay, this is good news. I though the backup switch redesign was months off in the future. Please keep us updated for when the new backup switch is installed.

PG&E came by to install new switch ring but could not because gas regulator is to close to the switch. So the Gas guy came over the next day (PGE) and replaced the regulator with a newer one that allowed a shorter distance between the switch ring and regulator . Today they finally installed the switch ring . Now have to wait to see what’s next . Almost there !
