Compared to traditional manufacturing, sure. They obviously stock piled FS and non-FS CTs and are struggling to move them now. There's probably a few hundred, not thousands like traditional companies can have.Telsa has an extremely lean "just in time" business and manufacturing model. They don't pile up inventory hoping for sales.
It’s like a reverse pyramid scheme. Last buyer wins.i was one of the first 50 non foundation ct owner in the us. i feel so stupid….
You spelled “desperate” wrong.wow this is certainly getting interesting... waiting until quarter end to see how much more interesting this gets.
Early plaid buyers may have gotten the rawist deal in the history of automotive sales. Absolutely brutal! You guys are quick to forget, a lot of us in the foundation series got installer credit paid for and the hardware for power share. That is $6,500 right there.
I was an early plaid Buyer, I paid a lot more and got nothing in return. At least with the cyber we got a lot of accessories and equipment and now they did the price cut and it does not include that stuff. You can have some crappy plastic vinyl wrap.
That’s okay, I keep it for a long time And most of us are shareholders so we did okay ?Early plaid buyers may have gotten the rawist deal in the history of automotive sales. Absolutely brutal!
If you had bought a plaid in November ‘22 and had FSD you would have paid close to $60,000 more than I paid for mine in September ‘23 when they gave the “one time only” option to transfer FSD which I did from my ‘21 M3P.
I guess, Fiker Ocean buyers got F’d harder.
Yes but with the extra FSD transfer still unbeatable ?. Thats the best deal Tesla will ever offer! If someone can score the Commercial Clean Vehicle Credit, this is a deal.

Correct. And just to be clear, Tesla doesn't "discount" either. Elon has spelled this out in plain language:Telsa has an extremely lean "just in time" business and manufacturing model. They don't pile up inventory hoping for sales.
The idiot who started this thread gave it the title "New Discounts on 2024 Cybertrucks". Well, that is simply wrong. No discounts are involved -- only price reductions."There can never -- and I mean never -- be a discount on a new car coming out of the factory in pristine condition".
Seems like a distinction without meaning?Correct. And just to be clear, Tesla doesn't "discount" either. Elon has spelled this out in plain language:

Exactly that is one of their huge competitive advantages with profitability. That’s why I laugh when others say Ford Dealerships are full of F-150’s, what’s the big deal. The big deal is that is how Ford does business and that is not the model that Tesla wants any part of. That’s why they will keep pulling levers until this dead inventory is sold. The new Y will offset some of the costs is my guess.Telsa has an extremely lean "just in time" business and manufacturing model. They don't pile up inventory hoping for sales.
I am not so sure about that, I’ve been to Fayetteville and Savannah GA and between the 2 locations they have over 100. Kennesaw GA has around 30. Georgia alone has hundreds.Compared to traditional manufacturing, sure. They obviously stock piled FS and non-FS CTs and are struggling to move them now. It's meaningful to Elon. He hates "discounts", but is OK with "price reductions".Seems like a distinction without meaning?
