The spokes on the new covers are more pronounced where they intersect the hub.

if there is a 10-15 % increase in range, I will be using these for sure, on long trips. I will be going to PA in September and maybe onto FL for a week so they will help with charging stops!I have the same and I agree it’s grown on me. I like this look but I have to see what the hubcaps look like later.

I’m guessing it’ll be around 5% based on other Tesla models! Just did a trip to PA and back to FL. I’m not sure if it’s just me but CT estimated range is much better than Model y and 3.if there is a 10-15 % increase in range, I will be using these for sure, on long trips. It actually does take time to do designs, test them, build a prototype and test, design and build the tooling, produce and test the parts.kinda funny, it took months to trim the ends shorter, When I saw the problem I came up with the exact same solution in seconds!
well, then I could save them big bucks by using obvious logic...trim the part that is causing the issue and drive it again. Lower the tire pressure to see if the tire ever hits the hubcap. Drive up on a brick while TP is 10 PSI to increase the tire deflection and see if it hits. One day, problem solved. It actually does take time to do designs, test them, build a prototype and test, design and build the tooling, produce and test the parts.
I hope it is better than 5%. If not, I'll keep them off. (But I bet it is less than 5% ?)I’m guessing it’ll be around 5% based on other Tesla models! Just did a trip to PA and back to FL. I’m not sure if it’s just me but CT estimated range is much better than Model y and 3.
That would be impressive for something so "simple"I’m guessing it’ll be around 5% based on other Tesla models! Just did a trip to PA and back to FL. I’m not sure if it’s just me but CT estimated range is much better than Model y and 3.
It's 2%I hope it is better than 5%. If not, I'll keep them off. (But I bet it is less than 5% ?)
Love the look.A Reddit user states Tesla installed the new ones. Could be fake.
New Aero Covers
AERO COVERS INSTALLED
Received a text from Tesla to come in and have Aero Covers installed. Surely but surely starting. The new slightly edited design that prevents tire rub.

Either way, I no longer have the option for the "core wheels". Only the 35" ATs with the 25" Cyberwheels. That was not recently the case. Those were for the core wheels. Cyber wheels always had 25" covers.
