Can you let me know if it gets resolved and how. I have an appointment on 4/30 for this and other items.
Will do. Weirdly, our repair time says 2 weeks now when it was expected to be a same day repair. I hope that's a typo in the app.

Don’t worry—I heard there will be a limited run of CyberRivet which is angular, signed by Franz and will be available with 20k referral points.
...for $8,000.

Why don't you address the very real substance of my message rather than weasel out with cutsie insinuations that I must be Elon. He's not the only person capable of thinking rationally and logically.
Spoken just like Elon.

Exact same situation here. Visiting the service center this afternoon to see what they say now that the recall is official. Leaving town for the middle of next week and thinking I probably won’t take delivery until this time next week at the earliest.
What Date did you get your VIN

Why don’t you give the Member making a claim the benefit of the doubt instead of jumping on Teslas side immediately. We all want Tesla to improve in the quality control department. You quickly accuse this owner of doing wrong with NO PROOF and quickly side with Tesla with NO PROOF. Yet we have recalls that involve the accelerator pedal, SBW and brakes. But yeah “rationally and logically”

Look for the humor, not the insult.
I saw the humor, but I also saw the ledge you were treading on.

I don't know what you're arguing.

In no case without additional failures could this recall have anything to do with that other thread. The guy who overshot the corner is not making that claim, either.

I just stopped by the Tesla store in Libertyville, Illinois and they had over 20 Cybertrucks in the back lot, I would guess next week will be a huge delivery week when pedals repairs are complete. I was the first delivery from that store just three weeks ago, looks like significant progress. I checked a few VINs, the few I checked ranged from 500 below mine (~41XX) to 2500k higher.

If it's just a friction fit holding it that's a bad design.
You do know that the only thing holding bolts and screws down is friction, rite? ;)

But more to your point, the throttle cover should have locking tabs of some sort, and I've seen photos that appear to show both tabbed and tabless designs. Maybe it was a running change, or maybe a visual illusion or bad photography? IDK

Dude, please don't. Let's not argue in ways that get people removed from the forums.

I look at it more like people who wear completely offensive clothes or shout vitriol at passersby. If they show you who they are early it's easy to simply ban/ignore them and move along.

It's worse when they hide who they are until you have had an entire conversation with them and spent so much time and energy on them. If I wanted to shout at Tesla/cybertruck haters I'd just go to Reddit instead of a forum that is for owners and people who appreciate the vehicle. Certainly discussing shortfalls is fine but simple negativity and shitting on everything is pointless.
