Minor question and just curious, but how many miles were on your CT odometer when you picked it up at dealership? Just curious. My vehicle showed 15 miles. Was that test driving at Tesla? Thanks.

15 miles is pretty standard, although I've seen as low as 6, but it has to be transported from the factory to parking lot, parking lot to delivery truck, delivery truck to overflow lot, overflow lot to delivery center.

I've seen as high as 45 and that's not from test drives.

My odometer disclosure statement reads 15, honestly I have no idea - not something I've paid attention to. For any vehicle you're normally looking at 5 (extremely low and unlikely) to 100 (if it's been sitting on the lot for a while and has been shuttled around a bit, also unlikely). 15-25 miles on delivery is pretty standard in my experience.

Thanks. What do you like better: CT or Defender. I also have a 2021 Defender 110. Love the Defender and selling to my son when CT arrives next week.

keen eyes!

We have the 130, my wife loves the Defender. For a family of 5 with three teenage boys and two dogs if we're all tripping somewhere - even hundreds of miles away - the Defender is the vehicle. Pretty much identical to your 110, just with more room in the back which is key for longer journeys. My kids appreciate the Wifi hotspot built-in so they can work on their laptops or watch a show on their iPads during a longer journey - no such luck in Cybertruck. My oldest likes to pop one seat up in the third row and despite being 6' tall enjoys the quiet, power outlets and heated seats. If it's just 3-4 of us going somewhere though, he'll pick Cybertruck 10 times out of 10.

I daily the Cybertruck. Oddly enough, the side mirrors on the Cybertruck are wider helping rearward visibility but the rear-view camera on the Defender is sorely missed. I find the seats on Cybertruck to be more comfortable but the interior materials on the Defender are much nicer. Sound systems are pretty similar, slight edge to the CT for the thumping bass. Ride is pretty similar, both have air suspensions and the Defender is on 20" off-road wheels/tires with a 33" tire diameter, the CT is on the all-terrain 20" wheels and 35" tires so not much difference there - both are road monsters in bad weather.

CT handles better, by a lot, as it's a bit wider and has a much lower center of gravity. All in all, I prefer to drive electric due to cost, convenience and quiet so prefer the Cybertruck. My wife doesn't drive the CT but will drive our Model Y. Her vehicle of choice is still the Defender - due largely to the rearward visibility, better surround-view cameras, more interior space and the ability to close the sunroof shade/cover (no such option in Cybertruck though I do keep in the sunshade all summer).

Honestly, hard to go wrong with either. Comparatively, we've put just under 7,000 miles on the Defender in almost two years vs. 3,800 miles on Cybertruck in five months - so that tells you something ;-)

PS despite Internet fear-mongering we've had no issues with either vehicle thus far. I did negotiate in a factory CPO warranty at no cost when I purchased the Defender giving me an extra year/unlimited miles for peace of mind, have had no claims or issues though the vehicle is still relatively new.

Thanks. Great synopsis. My wife won't part with her Range Rover Sport, but I think the Defender rides better, better visibility than her RRS. Waiting on the CT. We use to live close to you in Langhorne, Penna. Again, thanks for the feedback. Be safe.

You too, stay well. I really liked the RRS, just needed a bit more room and my wife preferred the off-road, vertical, styling of the Defender to the sleeker Range Rover Sport. Really all amazing vehicles. Enjoy the Cybertruck!

Paperwork typically says 15mi, often its 7mi IRL, but it can vary a bit if delivered by truck or rail and if the SC is using offsite storage.
